I have a pile of things to do today:
- wash the bedding
- steam and freeze rice
- chop onions for the freezer
- make chicken casserole in the crock pot

- take DH's work trousers to the dry cleaners
- several phone calls, including my Mum
- scrapping

- ironing
and maybe if I still have time, paint a skirting board!

You?

get J on the bus! Yeah a much better morning now that we know what the issue is!!! Such a different kid today.

Had no kids today but got a call from a friend who needed a sitter last minute as hers is very sick. So I have 1 kid until noon.

Lunch date with a friend and then get J from the bus. Spend the afternoon with him and who knows what we will do.

Supper and I might go to a meeting tonight.

I've started washing a few dishes, need to do more. Oh crud, I just remembered I put a load of clothes in the washer yesterday morning. guess I am off to rewash them, ooops.

Mark has physical therapy - not sure whether I'll go to town with him or not. I've been slacking on my domestic duties, so may just stay home & do laundry / clean floor, etc.

Trusses are arriving for our gs roof, so that progress will be fun to watch. I'll fix baked ravioli for dinner.

Lucy has dance this morning. Then I have a list of things I need to do at home. Mainly more organizing and such. Greg put together five organizing units this weekend and I intend on organizing. We need to study tonight and do homework as usual.

I have stuff to make some good dessert so that will go on the list also.

What else? We'll see what comes up.

I am, thank you! Still on antibiotics for another week or so but I feel great. I went to the doctor yesterday also and she found no lumps at all. Told me I'll live to be a hundred.

Hmm... I think we need to see some recent photos of you so that we can judge for ourselves to be honest.

I'm glad your better Vivi!!

Sarah, that is awesome that the bus problem has been solved

Today, I have an appointment with a new GI doctor. My old one left the practice, so I have to have a consultation to keep my prescriptions. David has a soccer game if its not washed out and tonight I have a parent meeting for Senior Boards.

Ours is the only school in Colorado that requires seniors to put together a huge paper and 15 minute presentation to faculty and community members on a topic of their choosing. Typically it is about a profession or activity that interests them. Each student has to have a mentor that is not related to them to guide them through the process. It is a year long project with presentations in April - if they don't pass, they don't graduate. It is such a stressful requirement for the students.

- laundry - one load completely done - one in dryer
- put supper in crock pot (swiss steak)
- baked and iced a cake to try out a chocolate cake recipe for Ben's birthday
- spent 2 hours on the phone this am with one of my best friends while Ben napped - please send up any spare prayers for her - her dh just lost his job, her grandfather is sick and dying and worst of her, her 6 year old dd just told her something awful on Sunday which I cannot share at this time but it is one of every parents nightmares
- going to Costco soon and then dropping the test cake off at dh's work so I don't eat it all!

Took DH to the import car repair shop to have a new clutch put in his subaru sti.

Got a call from Melissa, can I come over to help, they had a rough first night at home. Melissa has a severe case of PUPP rash, by this afternoon she was in tears because she was so uncomfortable, I had her call the doctor for emergency appointment. Doctor says the rash should disappear in a couple of weeks. Cool showers & cold packs, and Aveeno lotion to help calm the itchiness were recommended.

Working on party invitations this evening for my great niece's birthday. Birthday is not until January but with the holidays coming up, I would like to have them done and out of the way before I get busy crafting gifts for Christmas.

Poor Melissa - I've had hives that look like that. Cool bathes, light weight loose fitting clothes, children's Benadryl help me. It is truly miserable.
