Anything nice happening?

I was making out my list for the day and realised I have an awful lot of stuff to get through. I'd better get cracking.

It's turned a lot cooler over the last few days - very autumnal, which I love.

How about you?

Drop son off for 11 am class later and stop at grocery store. Work on cleaning up scrap desk/area. Going at a snail's pace but getting there. (I just don't know where to put things.)

I'm up a little earlier than usual to watch the news... had some crazy things happen in the town I lived in for 20+ years.

It's Mark's birthday. He starts physical therapy today, so we'll have lunch while in the city.

Other than that, the construction guys will be here at 8, to start setting posts for the new gs roof

well I was very sick on the weekend and still not feeling right today, feeling nauseated so not sure what is up AND NO I AM NOT PREGGY.
Hoping to get some energy back here soon, I feel like I could just go to bed and sleep the day away but I can't I have my hands full with kids today.

I do have a few dishes I should try to wash up when and if I get the energy.

I need to make myself eat something, even though I don't really feel like it.

Gotta figure out supper for tonight.

It's hubby's birthday tomorrow so tomorrow I'll need to make a cake and figure out a yummy birthday supper. But as for today, I need to get feeling more like myself.

hugs Sarah, I'm sorry you've been so sick

Now that the kids are in school, is it crazy to say I love Mondays, lol?? When I get home from dropping off Maryann I am all alone, DH is usually out of town. I can do whatever I want without worry of disturbing anyone. I can get my cleaning done 3 times faster it seems. Today is so much cooler than it has been and just feels amazing

It sounds like you need to schedule an appointment with your doctor Sarah. I hope you feel better soon.

Dh and I lounged around this morning. He just left for his security detail. Tonight we're going to Lilly's home game. Camy is coming with us, but Abby wants to go to grandma and papa's house.

I'll probably start some laundry, and maybe start another project. I'm just trying to decide if I feel like painting today or not. lol

We got off to a productive start. Got Ben up at 6:45 and got us both breakfast and ready for the day. Then went to drop off the water coolers that had been donated for our Parkinson's walk yesterday. Then to two groceries stores. My mom called just as we got in the door so chatted with her while I put groceries away and Ben had a snack. Now he's napping so I thought I'd grab an apple and catch up on here. Have a few groceries to take downstairs to the "overflow" shelf.

Rest of the day will be dusting, sweeping and mopping and some laundry. Maybe some scrapping this afternoon. Going to fix a roast chicken, baked potatoes and corn on the cob for supper.

called for my x-ray results and they aren't in yet. so hopefully next Monday they will be in.

if I get sick again this week I'll be heading into the emergency room to see if they can figure me out. hopefully I don't because it's hubby's birthday this week and J is playing in a ball hockey tournament on the weekend, I don't want to miss either.

Supper tonight is fish, fiddleheads and something else... not sure yet

tomorrow is a pork roast in the slow cooker with veggies.

Craziness! Just as I was walking into the school I see Aiden and his aide going into the nurses office. He got stung 5 times on the playground I stayed and ate lunch with him and finally decided just to take him home with me. He kept saying "hurt hurt hurt" and "home home" So I snagged him up and brought him home. I did manage to get a little smile out of him during lunch.

Yes. They kept asking if he was allergic because one got him right on the jugular! I was terrified but the swell has gone down an he seems fine.

Yowser, that's frightening. Poor little man.

What stung him, do they know? And you do know that if he is allergic, he won't react the first time he's stung, only the second time onwards?

You have to be exposed to the allergen first, in order to develop an allergy to it. But you don't react on that first exposure, because it takes a while for the markers to be produced in the body. I've forgotten what the markers are called.
