We've had the conservatory guy in to finish the penultimate item on our final punch list. We just have to take the warranty paperwork in for signatures now, and the job is done. I'm still waiting (impatiently!) for dates for the furniture course. The shop is now closed on Wednesdays, so I have to wait till tomorrow to call. {insert tapping feet icon here}

I've run the cleaner round and after I've unloaded the dishwasher, ironed some shirts and put away some laundry, I can start crafting. If the weather clears (we're inside another cloud so far) I might do some more garden work later.

Very domestic. How about you? Anything more exciting on your list for the day?

I will be at the dentist office for most of the afternoon. The girls and I all have cleanings scheduled. I have a stuffy nose and sore throat so it should be fun.

Lilly has soccer practice.

Domestic duties the rest of the day.

Babysitting!
Got the kid to the bus.
I need to make bread. We keep buying and it's getting costly.
I need to get my energy back first before I do too much. I did eat some toast so will see how that stays.
Supper I think is pizza. So I need to make the dough.

Going out with hubby. We're going to drive down to his work colleague's son's college and bring him a chair. (She lives out of state, he's going up here about 1 1/4 or so hours away. But we often go out on long drives so it's no big deal.)
Then be back later to bring son to his class today which is at 3.

We were at the surgi-center at 7 this morning and are awaiting Mark's knee surgery now. Hopefully be out of here and headed home by noon (?) Then check out how much dirt got moved & leveled while we're here. I'll try to keep the patient down for awhile, though that might be a challenge

Best of luck to Mark Stephy! I will be sending relaxing thoughts so he doesn't try to go bouncing around in that gas station project! LOL

Ya'll miss me? I have been doing much! Girls went back to school and are doing great. Lucy, not so much. We are battling some potty issues that will sure give me grays and take ten years of my life expectancy... Also, I'M SO SICK!!!!!!!!!! My tonsils look like garbage and are so inflamed that it even hurts to think about swallowing. Absolutely dreadful!

Anyway, Lucy starts ballet today and the other two have dance later. Busy day. I need to figure out dinner at some point.

Good luck to Mark Steph - tell him to do as they say after surgery - I have had too many patients come to see me that have taken longer to heal than necessary because they did too much too soon!

Hope you feel better soon Vivi!

I knocked off some of the bigger items on my to do list yesterday so today I plan to alternate some smaller things with scrapping!

I'm freaking out right about now. I went to get something out of my freezer (the one in the bottom of my fridge) and everything was soft... so I moved things around dumped out ice cream containers, took some stuff to the main freezer and left it. I rechecked it 2 hours later and nothing was refrozen. I thought the drawer might not have been closed properly. Of course I can't find the book for it. It has always been on top of the fridge but it's not there. so I need to go google.
I just emptied out the freezer and put it all in the main one and turned the fridge off. here's to that and that it works again. ugh... I don't need this right now. I need my freezer with no problems.

Of course we miss you Vivi! I was only thinking about you yesterday, and wondering whether you'd come back here. I thought about a Fb nag but I was sure you'd have lots of good reasons. Feel better soon honey, and don't worry about Lucy and potty training. Kids always do that at their own pace, not necessarily to mom's and dad's convenience.

Oh no Sarah! Don't freezers always pick the worst times to fail? Having said that, there is never a good time for that!

fingers crossed. there is ice forming in the freezer. I left the freezies and some ice packs in there and they are getting colder. I also put a small container of water in there and it's frozen. *phew*. I think, I hope we will be ok.
I think though for a few days I'll just put in our frozen fruit and veggies. That way if something does happen we won't lose anything.

I did find some squash I put in the freezer. J and I are both wanting squash so I think that will come out and we'll use it tomorrow for supper.

Marta, the course is in refurbishing furniture. I have a lot of my grandparents' furniture from the 1920s and '30s. It is a beautiful dark oak but it doesn't work in our house that colour. I don't want to get rid of it if I can use it, so I'm going to paint and wax it up, and put some of it in the new conservatory. Well that's my plan, anyway! Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be too difficult for me!

The dates came through this evening. I've applied, now we'll see what happens. Hopefully I'll know tomorrow.

Thank goodness Sarah. MIL's freezer once had ice so thick on it that the door wouldn't shut properly. Then it wouldn't freeze, surprise, surprise.

Hi Vivi!

I hope Mark has a speedy recovery.

Dentist appointments are done. Lilly is at practice. Now I just need to figure out what to fix for dinner. I don't really feel like fixing anything. We have a lot of leftovers, so maybe soup or leftovers. Lol!

Waving to Vivi!!

I hope Mark is feeling better and not itching too much to be active, Steph. My sister has had four knee surgeries and her dh two so I know how the recovery goes!!

I worked, took an awesome walk and talk with my neighbor, cleaned my bathroom, and am now throwing in some laundry. Fun times at my house!!
