I love when nouns become verbs!

Have you ever had to MacGyver your way out of a problem?

Share your examples!

Not a noun, but a change of word use - in Singapore they tell each other to off and on things instead of switching them off and on, like "can you off the light?" and "can you on the a/c?" Hubs and I have adopted that into our every-day language because we think it's cute.

Oh wait. We talk of babying people when we're overprotective of them, don't we? And if I'm out somewhere and the window is covered in small hand prints, I do say "it's been childed"

When we see bits of the garden destroyed by the wildlife we tend to say "the lawn's been badgered" or "the feeder's been squirrelled". But that's our personal language, I don't think it's in common usage. I love word play.

Great examples, Rosey & Jen!

And Rosey, I would say using an adjective as a verb counts! (To off the lights)

Keep them coming

Yes, Googling is another one. I didn't think of that Jen.

I can think of several - but I'm old enough that most of them are no longer socially acceptable

How about "gaming"? We used to say "playing a game" or just "playing", but now playing online games is called "gaming". Silly really, when you think about it, isn't it?
