it's Thursday and hubby thought it was Friday...ooops! today is babysitting, I think I'll make some cookies and lots of outside play time.
Tonight J has soccer.
I also need to do some laundry and tidy the kitchen.

My right arm and back is sore. I think it was from all that extra scrubbing at my dad's.
It amazes me each time I do something how grateful dad is for all the help that I give him. I actually scrubbed the front of the fridge and got all the finger prints off of it and dad walked in and said wow! it is white again, wow! thank you.
Looks like next week I'll be back to clean the inside of his fridge and scrub things out.

Our washing machine called it quits yesterday, in the midst of my third load of the day. Full of water & refusing to drain or spin, Mark had to disconnect the hose when he got home & then squeeze everything out & dry it twice as long.

So.... today I shall go to the laundromat. Never been to the one in this town - am sooo looking forward to it - ha ha NOT! lol

Been feeling incredibly unmotivated this week, so I'm not sure if I'll accomplish anything else. Guess I could start packing for my KC trip. And think of something to have for supper. Hmm.....

I threw frozen chicken breasts into the crockpot with some chicken broth to cook all day. DH will shred when he gets home, add some noodles and a bit of water and hopefully (I'm winging it here) will have chicken soup. That with cheese toasties will be supper.

Work today -- home tonight with small hopes of getting into the scrap room. I haven't been feeling the urge lately so haven't done anything. Either I get the urge back or I might as well pack it all up.

Work

A couple of loads of laundry

Call the Doctor's office and ask just how many days is a few - I'm looking for the definition of "We'll call you in a FEW days to get that surgery scheduled" - is 10 days a few?

Go through the sets of die cuts that came in the mail yesterday and organize them for craft day at work.

I am getting ready to go to the gym for my strength training class. Then back home to get ready for a lunch date. Then I might take the girls to the pool. Not greatly motivated here and super PMSy. I can't wait for my period to come so I can feel better!

Today I need to fix a huge batch of french toast and bacon for the army of teenagers who spent the night. David wanted one last "hurrah" before school starts.

This afternoon is registration at the school to include pictures - the moms are gonna hate me as the boys apparently stayed up all night with the xbox, oops!

Also, I need to give the old range a good scrub down and give it to my neighbor who is having a garage sale tomorrow - it will be nice to get rid of it and get back the space in the garage

oh, and also I need to get in 7 miles, barf.

That's great, Sarah, how much your dad notices and appreciates your work.

Hot, busy day here. Made 3 cards and wrapped DH's godson's presents. Threw a pile of stuff in the crock pot and I now have 7 beef stew dinners for the freezer. Dropped in to godson's to give him his presents, then straight to choir practice. The organist and his wife came back to ours afterwards for a glass of something and only left an hour ago. Loaded up the dishwasher, fed the gecko, and I'm just sitting down with some water and waiting for the stew to cool enough to put it in the freezer. Then bed. Beautiful, cool bed.
