Good morning everyone, how are your plans for the day?

It's cool, windy, cloudy and damp here today. I can't believe it's June.

I need to run down to the supermarket, do a little scrapping, and phone a friend in Australia.

I've been reading a Homes magazine and now I want to paint all our furniture! Well maybe not all of it, and not today, but I'm seeing possibilities that were just dreams and uncertainty before. I love when I get revelations like that.

What's on your agenda for the day?

I am out tonight to another steeped tea party, not sure if i'll get anything but i'll go plus it will give me a chance to get out.

pizza for supper
the countdown is on 5 working days and then we are on vacation for a week!

Well... I had an unwanted early start to my day, but I'll survive. Mark got up to go to work at 5:15, at which time the golden retriever began frantically pacing and panting. A large clap of thunder explained why.... So I shut our door, but it didn't latch, so he pushes his way in. Then I hear Britt's dog Delilah bark from her kennel across the hall (Duke had been in there as well - which set her off). Meanwhile, Mark's son is trying to sleep his last few minutes before work, so I take Duke downstairs..... he will not go out though, because of the weather

I quickly fix coffee and take a listen upstairs - only to hear baby Jeremiah fussing from our room. Run upstairs to get him, grab a bottle, grab a coffee & hit the living room.

Beyond ready for my second cup now Pretty sure it's gonna be a 3-4 cup day!

Poor you Steph! I'm still recovering from our family reunion yesterday which turned out to be one stupid big bust. Today is a stormy kind of day so I'm going to work on cleaning and cooking. Going to Zumba this afternoon should get me out of my funk...

I used to plan the family reunion in a center location to most people in the huge family. The place was super nice, clean, with bathrooms attached to the pavilion and the children's park just a few steps away. This year one of the cousins decided she wanted it right by her father's house. The place was horrid. Stagnant water everywhere, bathrooms super far. Bugs everywhere. The park was too far. It was terrible! I also feel she did this to spite us who planned it before and it turned out to be a big bust. I could tell yesterday she was nervous, as she should have been since most people where very unhappy. Nobody will say a word so next year it will be right back there again. I can't say I will attend since we were all miserable...

I think I spoke too soon. headache seems to be lingering. I have so much stuff I want/need to do and can't seem to muster up the energy to do it, plus the headache lingering it doesn't seem to help.

No, it was just the fact that they felt it was too far from their house. Needless to say, we are the ones with the youngest kids and a grandma who can barely walk... They also insisted on grilling and didn't bring enough meats so people ended up not eating. Stupid, it was just stupid. Greg refuses to admit that it was terrible but, funny enough, he decided to leave early with me and the girls. He always stays way later to help clean up and all.

I'm feeling pretty productive today so I'm hoping I'll get some serious cleaning done. Chili for dinner tonight so I'll work on that in a little bit so it can simmer for a while. Other than that, who knows?

1st day back to work after a vacation week. Bummer. Had a good week -- even with 25 family members in 1 (huge) house.

Today's agenda is to deal with a week's worth of emails. My mail was kept up by my former asst -- and I've got to give her credit, she did well.

When I get home again, I need to do more laundry. Why does it seem you have more when you go away than if you stayed home?!? Then a trip to the grocery will be necessary. We have zilch in the house to eat after today. My MIL came over to feed our cat while we were gone and she left us a few groceries so we wouldn't have to go out immediately. That helped.

Hello all,

So much happening with you all, sounds very hectic.
DD has her friend over for 2 days, so she is out of my hair except they are always hungry & the friend seems to just want to eat all out treat food that aren't for every day let alone all day!!!! Not sure what she eats at home as she's very skinny.
I haven't even made it to the shower yet, have been on the internet as ours is only a bit fast in the mornings so i try to use it then, but by doing this it holds my day up!!
Oh well, I have been cleaning out cupboards like a women possessed so not sure what that means!!
At night's I've been photographing the moon. ha ha a bit moon crazy now that I know how to get a good shot. Will post in another thread soon. I'm thinking if I wriggle myself I could try to learn how to scrap again today.

I got up and walked for 4 1/2 miles and then did some weights when I got home. I am sore and so out of shape!! It felt GOOD!!

I then vacuumed and dusted the downstairs, cleaned up the kitchen, did a load of laundry, and then did some errands. I then was exhausted and came home and read a book!!

Great job on the wo Nora!

I went to the gym this morning and did a quick chest/tricep/cardio wo. Bench pressed 45 lb db's. I'm going to try for 50's next week.

Then my dh and I went grocery shopping and out for dinner.

I'm doing laundry now and packing a picnic lunch for the 5 of us for tomorrow.
