It's been fairly quiet in here today. What's everyone doing?

Lilly had conditioning for soccer this morning at 8am. I drove her there in my pj's.

The girls and I were testing all of the games I put together for Abby's party. I have 5 indoor/outdoor games planned. If the weather cooperates I have about 5 more outdoor games we can play. I'm sending all of the goodies home with the kids. The only thing we'll serve at the party are popsicles and water bottles.

I scrapbooked today too! I think I'll start another June challenge. I figured I can get the rest of the cooking, baking, and cleaning done tomorrow. I skipped going to the gym, so I'll have to do that in the morning. After the gym the girls and I are going to go see my mom and run into MC Sports. Lilly needs regulation shin guards. Apparently hers aren't.

We are having accreditation surveys at the hospital system where I work, and today I had to sub for someone who's on vacation out of the country. It all went super well; I felt good that I was able to pull it off (I used to run the program myself but that was 2+ years ago so I was hardly up to speed).

Then after that was over I felt like a wet noodle so I came home and took a nap on my pool float, LOL!

I got called into work today, but that was fine by me, since my hours were cut a bit this week. My friend & fellow co-worker finally returned to work after being out for five months due to knee surgery.

Decided to make a serious attempt at getting the rest of my scrap room cleaned up. Might take 2-3 days to complete.

DH & I celebrated our wedding anniversary, 33 years!
Had a nice dinner, and watched the baseball game.

It was raining here all day so we did inside stuff. I cleaned bathrooms, cleaned out the fridge and wiped it down inside and out, washed towels, swept floors and then got most of the way done cleaning/re-organizing my scrap room. Ben is super close to crawling so I have to get some stuff up off the floor and low shelves. All I have left to do is a small rolling cart and my desk area. Went out for supper with a few girls I went to physio school with. Dh is catching up on some of his tv shows so I may try to finish my scrap room.

Took Noah to football and while he was there I shopped and ran errands. Came home and cleaned and did a little yardwork.

Noah had baseball game and then I came home and sat in driveway and listened to Lynard Skynard and Lady A that were .7 miles down the road in concert!!

Tomorrow night is:
Clayton Anderson
Parmalee
Montgomery Gentry
Little Big Town
Dierks Bentley

The pics pretty well sum it up... but Britt, Jeremiah and I went to Chili's for lunch & then to get her some new sunglasses. A friend of hers came over this afternoon to visit & when Jav got home from work we ordered pizza. They left baby J with me this evening while they went to DQ for dessert and we watched a movie upon their return. Other than that, lots of baby holding, feeding, changing and kissing!

let's see. I missed J's first field trip. I was so sick on Thursday and still Friday morning. I ended up sleeping the morning away. As did hubby. Actually I think hubby was awake maybe 4 hours from yesterday morning until today. Thankfully we all seem to be feeling better.
I managed to walk with J to the store to pick up a father's day gift for his dad and get a movie. We chilled for the evening.

Colleen, Lilly will be jealous when I tell her you saw Lady A. Hunter Hayes (?) is coming to our fair this year and she is hoping to go. Have a great time at the other concerts, or listening to them from home. lol

I bet you're having a great time with baby J Stephanie. He looks like he's grown quite a bit already!

I hope you're feeling better today Sarah.

Today I went to the gym. I made sure to get that done first thing or I would have talked myself out of it.

Then we ate lunch, visited my mom, went to MC Sports for soccer gear, and then to Meijer for a few things. We're going to eat dinner. Then I need to start baking, cooking, and clean a bit for the party.

My mom was having some swelling issues this week. It's gone down a lot, but when the doctor saw her yesterday he said he thinks her organs are shutting down. He can't really say, but he's thinking she has another two months or so. I'm just numb. I keep telling my dad it's so unfair. My mom was so healthy. ALS sucks. At this point my dad is hoping sooner then later because it seems like she is suffering more now. We feel so helpless.

Oh Jen I did not see Lady A!! Just sat in driveway and heard them!!! Probably best for all parties that I was not at concert!!! I dont have the patience for stupid people these days...lol!!

Tonight sucked!! Was Montgomery Gentry, Little Big Town and Dierks Bentley! and I did not hear a peep from them. Im sure the township trustees had a say in the noise level. We didnt even hear the crowd which is exrtemely unusual!!! Oh well!! Always next year...lol!!!

Jen...I'm so sorry. Feeling helpless must be horrible. Do you have CVS pharmacies near you? I was happy to hear that they are taking ALS donations at the register. I immediately thought of you and your Mom.

Thanks ladies

Yesterday we had Abby's birthday party and it was the first time my dad came without my mom. It was hard.

He enjoyed himself, but I think he almost felt guilty being there since she couldn't be. This was the first time that all of his grandkids have been together since my youngest nephew was born too. He will be two in September.
