Don't know if you remember or not....but in January I had a scrapbooking. Cropathon where I made page bases and no photos, with the intention of adding photos and final embellies later.

Next wed it's DHS mothers birthday and he has asked me to create an album for her.

I have just pulled out my page starters, and I am going to use these. It's going to be the quickest gift albumn I have made in history! I can't imagine having to start from scratch.

Apparently Shimelle Laine on 2 peas does this often as a starting point for layouts. ( I am sure she copied me )

Good for you! Are you going to post pics when it's done? I'd love to see how you can make pages without the photos as inspiration. I took a class in Singapore where we came out with 10 pages and no photos. I thought it would be a doddle to add the photos, but 5 years on and most of them are still in the bag irritating me.

Most of the ladies who come to my classes do not bring photos...they add them later on. They always manage to find something they can add to the page that looks like it was made for it.

Just spent four hours looking for photos, scanning and printing photos, and then rescanning again on my dedicated photo scanner......boy the multifunction one was rubbish! Took me half an hour to find the cord for it.

Been busy trying to make the scanned photos my sis in law sent me half pie reasonable........not happening. Totally can not improve them any more. I am guessing she sent them at a low resolution, ah well, they are what they are!

Now to go through my stash of photos and marry them up with a page base! Got the containers of embellies all ready to add as I go. I am hoping it will be easy.........but not holding my breath

I make page kits as well and often don't get to them..... by time I do, I can't remember what I was thinking...... I am glad you were able to pick up your train of thought and go with it!
