nice, but breezy today. Hopefully will die down this afternoon and I can get more veggie plants in the ground.
Trying to decide if I want to go out and dig up some irises to move around. I've got a few random patches (well, quite a few random irises - but these are most obvious clumps). Need to dig up the side bed which is being taken over by a weed. It's called creeping bellflower, and it IS pretty when it flowers but it's horribly invasive and about impossible to actually get rid of. I've seen it referred to as 'the cancer of the garden'. So I may slow it down temporarily if I'm lucky.
There's a lilac in the back corner of my yard I want to move but I haven't figured out where to put it yet. I have one idea but there's a big clumping tree thing there and I don't have a chainsaw and an axe to get it out of the way. (And it does need get cut back, as it's gotten way too big and I have to keep lopping off branches so I can walk by that side of the house and shed.)

Well, apparently that weed is edible so I may have to try it. The one thing I could grow with no effort on my part.

I have a house full 3 boys and 1 girl between the ages of 1 1/2 and 6. It hasn't been too bad today, yet. It's quiet time now the youngest is sleeping and bob the builder is on.

It's raining today so probably no outside time. Thought of going for a walk if it stops but not sure I want to venture with 4 kids just yet. Did 3 yesterday and we had some moments.

I've unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, washed some dishes, went through grocery ads, made a cinnamon loaf, dealt with kids and who knows what else.

tonight it's meatloaf and leftover french onion soup (first time making it and it was a huge hit). Heading to church as it's our youth pastor's last night and it's his birthday.

Then home and probably time for bed. Going for a pedicure tomorrow, can't wait!

Tam, my garden is in major planting need. I wasted the last three days playing outside. I use the word wasted loosely... I need to get it planted this weekend for sure.

Today I have to get to my Zumba class this morning and run a couple of errands after that. When the girls get home I need to go to the store and make dinner. Not a whole heck of a lot today, I like that!

Well... I slept until 9 and when I awoke, I heard Brittany walking around upstairs. I bolted up, thinking "I better go take Delilah out!" (dog goes out back, which down & up a flight of stairs). But as I top the flight of stairs from my room... I spot Britt all bright-eyed, having been up since 7:00 & took the dog out long ago LOL

So now I have her sitting & she's working on a list for me to go out and about running errands.

No plans for the day, my friends daughter graduating high school tonight so we will be there. She's been my baby since she was about 7-8 months old.

After I helped the girls get around for school this morning I made 2 dozen cookies for Lilly's Civil War day. I volunteered to help get the lunch table ready. Unbelievable how fast the kids went through the food! I was putting bags of chips out and as I set one down another was empty. The cookies section was a whirlwind. It was fun. Lilly came up to me right away and wanted me to walk around with her. She hugged me and let me take a few pictures.

I'm taking an online washi tape course here in a bit. Then I'm going to plant my flowers and start cleaning. Tomorrow Lilly and I are going shopping ALL day, so I want to get the house clean today.

Later tonight we're getting a surprise delivery. I will take a photo and post when our delivery arrives.

Jen I think I can guess what your delivery is!

It rained a bit this morning and is still overcast and a bit windy here. Supposed to clear up some this afternoon and then rain again tonight. The page protectors I ordered from Creative Memories arrived so I am going to spend some time today getting layouts into them and into albums. This afternoon B and I are going to run out and get gas, go to the bank and look for a birthday present for our Duke - our little pup turns 2 on Monday! If we have time we may stop and browse some plants. Later this evening my best friend and I are having a phone date as we haven't chatted in awhile!

Jen, do you like the Washi tape? I do, it seems to just add a little 'something' to a layout...
Having a quiet morning here, just resting up...that new Grandbaby of mine doesn't seem to sleep much so I've been going to my Daughters house everyday and watching the kids so that she can get some sleep. It's a good job he's cute....

1 kid is down for a nap..... it's a little quieter in here since he went down for a nap and the little one is up. Maybe my headache will go away.

Looking forward to hubby getting home. He got me a watch for mother's day and it didn't fit so he took it to get fixed and it was too small, then it broke. so it's fixed and resized and hopefully fits. He also picked up a few games for the game system. I imagine we'll be trying that out tonight!

Hi Linda! I do like the washi tape. For some reason I'm going through all of the prompts and can't get the course to upload. Aggravating! It was free, so no big deal.

So, what do you think our delivery is Amanda?

My guess is a kitten since I think I remember you saying before Christmas that you guys were going to get one in the summer!

You have a good memory! It is our kitten. We promised them at Christmas that we would get a kitten in the spring. The girls are so excited.

went to Salt Lake City and the Cheesecake factory for my birthday with just my hubby! The boys were good for my mom, and that made it even more enjoyable!
