Woohoo! The sun is shining for my final day of collection. Thank goodness. Just 7 houses left to revisit.

Then it's supposed to rain, and I have some scrapping to do. I have choir practice tonight.

What's on your agenda today?

Edited by RedSquirrel on 05-16-13 07:40 AM. Reason for edit: Title change at the suggestion of our Queen of the Mop (shh - I think she may be a "broom closet" alcoholic...!)

I accomplished absolutely nothing yesterday. My dh couldn't get around very well yesterday and ended up staying home. The bone spurs are pinching the sciatic nerve. He'll probably stay home again tonight.

So, my list is the same as yesterday. Laundry, make birthday cards, plant flowers, and then this afternoon I have a meeting with Abby's teacher.

sun? where? it's raining here today but I am not going to complain. We definitely need the rain in a big way.
We really needed it last week with all the forest fires but will take the rain today.

Babysitting again today. Just the 2 youngest and then will get my kid afterschool.

1 more day this week (but al 4 kids all day tomorrow as the kids have no school). Then 3 days off!

I already have a loaf of bread started. Thinking I need to make a 2nd loaf and possibly a 3rd loaf. I need to get some bread in the freezer, especially for days I have no energy left in me to make any more.

I'm hoping to get the laundry put away and the bathrooms scrubbed but we'll see how today goes.

Taking Britt to the dentist at 8 a.m. She has a cracked tooth (causing no pain) but this would be a bad time for it to get worse! So we'll see what they want to do about that; and then she has another non-stress test at 11:30

Other than that, just keep waiting

Fun day in the office today. Our normal 10 person office is down to 2 today. Why am I not thrilled?? Because I'm one of the 2 left here.

Got mulch placed around the pond area in the backyard last night. Didn't take as long as I'd figured it would. Now we need to get a truck load for the other areas in the yard that needs mulched. The pond gets black, the others get plain brown. Love the yard after fresh mulch -- just looks so finished.

That's beautiful Karen!

My days have been a blur of activities and end of the school year events. Plus I spend all days playing outside with plants and Lucy since the weather has been so gorgeous. Today should be no different. I have my total body conditioning class this morning, run errands after and later I have Bianca's last day of girls on the run meeting. Before that I need to make sure this house is not a mess. Did I mention how much I look forward to the summer? Plus, I went to Bianca's ballet class Tuesday and the teacher told me how she feels Bianca has big talent and wants her to skip the next two levels and put her in a more advanced class but she wants to work that levvel's tachnique with her over the summer. I wasn't planning on that... One more thing to worry about. I'm happy for her, she really has a passion for the dance but I was hoping for a more relaxed, impromptu sort of summer. We'll see what Mia's teacher says about her, she is truly the one with the biggest passion and talent I think.

Anyway, good to see you all! Jen, I hop hubby gets better. Has he been dealing with this long?

Steph, I can't wait for that baby!

At this point I'm pretty sure Britt & I would each take a tequila shot! Poor girl is undergoing a root canal as we speak

So glad I came back in the room with her though. Heck.... glad I'm down here in the first place!

Hopefully this won't stir up the baby for his mon-stress test in just a couple of hours.

oh wow! I know when I was preggy and needed a fixing they recomended no freezing but I get my fillings done without anyways. When I had my root canals done I did have freezing but it didn't work so I felt them doing it almost the whole time.

House cleaning today. Then over to the backyard neighbor to report that their pool is STILL leaking into my backyard, this has been an ongoing issue since they put the pool in 10 years ago, it started out as a small little puddle and has now grown to be more like a small pond, it needs to be fixed since I am ready to re-landscape my backyard and my landscaper won't do any work until they fix their pool leak. My landscaper said if they don't fix the leak within 14 days I should report it to the city and let them handle it from there.

Next is gathering up all my my scrapping supplies for tomorrow's planned date with DD's best friend to start making the baby shower invites, decorations & party favors. Then going over to the party site to talk with the manager about what we are allowed to bring, go over menu selection, and what is expected of us for clean-up. And finally prizes for the baby shower games.

Guess i won't be washing dishes today/tonight.

Welp... my little trooper survived the root canal (2.5 hours worth) and then we flew over to the hospital for the non-stress test. All is well with baby & mom. Wait through the weekend; another NST on Monday & OB appt. on Wednesday.

Glad to hear all is well. Can't imagine a root canal being 9 mo pregnant.
