Today is back to normal for me; putting all my birthday goodies away, thank you cards, laundry from our weekend away (I would normally have done that yesterday but I didn't ) and ironing.

No choir practice tonight because most of them are also involved with the Town Twinning Association and they are in Holland. So that will be nice to be at home with DH.

He woke up at 5am shivering with cold and then sweating at 6:30 so I have everything crossed that he isn't going down with something nasty.

What's on your agenda today?

So laundry, cleaning and everything else had to wait until today! And where am I - sitting here on the Computer

Not sure yet. Just up, watching the news and sipping first cup of coffee.

It's Britt's last day (this week) to watch Asher & today his sister comes as well. I guess she is a pre-teen & can be a bit moody, so this may be interesting.

I'm sure we will do a bit more work in the nursery. I'll probably do a little laundry & might prepare & freeze a couple of meals for future use.

Would like to venture out on my own & pick up Britt's shower gift for this weekend... but will wait & see how it's going with the kiddo's.

Hopefully your dh isn't getting sick Rosey.

laundry/cleaning
spring concert (K)
baking cookies for Abby's birthday party at school tomorrow (her birthday isn't until June)
workout

I've been trying to convince my dh to schedule an appointment to see the doctor for days now. Last night I tried to get him to run into the ER while on duty. His pain was miserable. We suspect that he has a hiatal hernia. Most times it can be treated at home, but I want him to go in to be sure that is what it is. He keeps saying he doesn't want to go through a series of tests, stubborn man!

Today was supposed to be jam packed, but due to all the snow (we got 8 inches!) Maryann's fundraiser run was postponed (for the 2nd time lol) and David's track meet was cancelled.

So that just leaves Paul's Fr/So Championship track meet this afternoon/evening. This morning was an assembly for the 8th grade awards - David made Honor Roll

Today, I'm getting a late start. I slept in until 8 am, which is late for me, I am usually up at 5 am most days because of work.
Still fighting this darn cold. My voice is still a bit raspy, and the cough is still a nuisance, but the ear infection is gone, and my energy level is almost back to normal.

Need to make a run to Target, Costco, Michael's, and grocery store.
Have called my lawn/yard service person to ask for an estimate on some backyard work I would like to have done.
Making more name banners for friends who are having babies, everyone has loved the one I made for DD baby shower.
Hope to have time today or tomorrow to get tomato plants planted, and maybe some planter pots filled with basil, thyme, rosemary, etc.
Oh, and tidy up the house a bit.

Ben had an eye appointment this am to check on potentially blocked tear ducts. Went well, dr isn't too concerned and wants to try conservative first. He said 80-90% resolve by age one on their own. Ben did great and didn't even cry with the eye drops or bright lights in his face. Now he has GIANT pupils! Dropped dh at work after and visited there for a bit while Ben had a bottle. Stopped at the grocery store on the way home. Going to just chill out this afternoon and then am meeting girlfriends for dinner.

Wish me luck! David's track meet is back on schedule. The boys meets are across town from each other, about 30 min drive with no traffic. Of course there will be rush hour!!

So the goal is to watch Paul's 1st event, book it to David's first event & second event. Then back for Paul's second event. Out of luck for David's 3rd event because that will be cutting it too close.

The big deal for this is that Paul is poised to win both his races and David has a real shot at beating the school records this meet. If all goes well we will be a very happy house tonight

Sherri, what's going on now? Just a check-up, or something worse?

Work, after work put together the prop bags for each student for the Mother's Day program. Each student has made 5 props over the past couple of weeks, so I put the bags together. Ran to 2 courts to pick up warrants for my dad, got a new inhaler for Jenna, stopped at Great Harvest to pick up some delicious bread, now I'm home eating the bread and watching TV.

Well, yesterday was good and bad.

The bad: the timing did not work out at all and I missed all of David's meet. Paul just hasn't recovered yet and ran 2 very bad races - not only did he not win, but essentially gave up

The good: David had a fantastic meet! He broke the school record in the 400m and won the 800m and missed the record by 3 seconds at least DH was able to be there to cheer him on!!
