Hi everyone. I am having a problem with storing wooden rubber stamps. I am a house mouse fan so they have kind of taken over my space. Any ideas how to store them? My scraproom is kind of full. lol Any suggestions would be fantabulous!!!

Thanks a bunch.

My sister uses the old newspaper typesetter drawers from way back when each news story had to be typeset for printing. They obviously don't do this anymore and many, many drawers have hit the antique sales. Her DH adjusts the spaces to fit her stamps and hangs them on the wall. Looks good and decorative.

Karen-that sounds like a cool idea!! I just have mine in drawers that I bought at IKEA. Some have single layers but others are double layered.

Hi and welcome to SJ!

Mine are in a drawer too. It is half double-layered. I don't have that many, but many of them are HM - LOVE them!

I've seen some beautiful storage solutions where people have them on windowsills, on shelves lining the walls, in those shallow drawers.

Have you checked Pinterest? That's where I would look.

I think if I were into stamps I might like to display them more than store them, if a way where they are decorative and I could see what I was looking for.

I unmounted all of mine from their blocks, remounted on cling foam and store in binder boxes.

If I had a separate scraproom - I would want THIS! :-) That's awesome. . .

I have a wardrobe closet from Ikea and I use the sock divider drawer for my stamps, ribbons, buttons, Brads, etc.

I'm not a stamp person, so I don't have that many, but here is how mine are stored. I don't even remember what the original use of these shelves was...I found it at a yard sale and I think we set it on it's back...maybe it was a book or magazine rack...

That's what my husband says, too. However, there are only a few of them I have bought specificially...probably less than a dozen. The rest have either been given to me or came in kits. I wish I was much better at doing stamping.

Pretty much all of mine fit into a basket the size of your large red one! I like stamps but aren't good with them either.

Wooden Stamp Storage By Darlawelch

Each individual 4x6 box is labeled with the category of stamps that are inside, i.e. trees, birthday, etc. The lage boxes are then numbered. I keep an index showing what category is inside which numbered box. Easy to find!
