It will be my domestic day to stay home, update bookwork, empty & reload the dishwasher, do some laundry, Swiffer the floors, etc. (Arg)

Britt is going to bake brownies for a friend this morning, then go to town w/her dad & his gf, to exchange the duplicate stroller she got from them.

This evening she's bowling with Mark, myself & some friends = fun!

I made a card for MIL's birthday.

Tonight I'm making turkey burgers for tea, and then we're going to the church AGM. DH is being proposed for the PCC, and I want to know what's happening with our choir practices when the new roof work starts next month. Nobody seems able to tell us.

That's about it.

Finally caught up with my sleep. My Daughter had her baby on Saturday and I've been helping them out and not getting my beauty sleep
She had a baby boy Iden ( pronounced eye-den) 9 pounds 6 ounces. His big sister and brother just love him, Ava loves to hold him and Easton even changed his diaper!!
There is a picture of him on my Facebook wall if anyone wants to see him ( I didn't get any of him yet on my camera)

It smells so good in my house. I have sweet potatoes and a roast in the oven. When the roast is done I'll bake the banana bread I made.

First thing I did was peel potatoes this morning. Then my dh and I went to the gym together. Now we're just doing our after school routine. Snacks, homework, and showers. After all of the showers are done I'll start some laundry.

Abby is the 'top banana' this week at school, so Camy and I are going to meet her for lunch tomorrow. It's nice that all of the schools are close together. It makes it easy for me to get the girls together once in awhile throughout the day. Lilly's lunch is earlier and she doesn't want to miss her LA class, so she wont be joining us.

This morning Ben and I went for groceries. Super windy out there today! Glad I got a parking spot close to the store. Put some chicken in the slow cooker with onion, pineapple, green pepper and mango curry sauce. Hopefully it's good! Was trying to use up some sauces I had. Also poached some chicken and am waiting for it to cool so I can blend it up into baby food. Will probably do a batch of sweet potatoes for Ben too. I think he may have another tooth coming today, he's been loving chewing on a cold cloth. Dh comes home today around supper time! This should be his last long work trip for awhile!

It's been a rough week, that really bad cold I had last week, that kept me voice-less for 4 days, got worse. Went to see the doctor, thinking bronchial infection because my asthma was acting up, do to the cough I had developed, but that wasn't the case. Turns out I had a double ear infection and didn't know it. On the mend now with antibiotics.

Now that I am starting to feel better, guess I will have to start catching up on the laundry and general pick-up/ cleaning of the house, those chores sort of just got neglected while I was sick.

I ran all over the place to scrappy shop a little since hubby needed miles put on his car for diagnostics for inspection. (When the battery was replaced it reset the computer I guess, so it has to have a bunch of miles racked up again for the diagnostic to work. Something like that.)
Then I was let off (thank goodness!) for an illegal turn I made - which I didn't know I was making and didn't see the cop either. I didn't see the sign and apparently I didn't know all the rules of the road either. (I never took driver's ed, someone taught me to drive in about 2 weeks and even the licence manual doesn't tell you all this stuff.)

You didn't have a driving test Tam? Aren't they mandatory in the US?

In the UK you it used to be that you only don't have to take the statutory driving test if you have been trained while in the Forces, and I don't know whether that still stands now. DH's grandad never took a test because he was taught to drive in the army. But he was frankly terrifying behind the wheel.

Yes, I had to take a test for my license but it really doesn't cover everything - like I said, I didn't know what I did was illegal. (I made a turn over a double yellow. I know how it applies to passing, but didn't know it applied to turns. And I didn't see the no left turn sign.)
