Love your article on upcycling/recycling! I've been trying to reuse these same type of things too. It's really fun to see how many different ways you can use things you just normally throw away.

The items you made by using recycled items are amazing!!! Would love to see more of your creativity!

hey Virginia! thanks for the lovely compliment! There is a photo of a layout in my gallery, in which I use the wood grain packaging of embellishments for pattern paper.....

LOVE this. But tell me please, what do you do with a junk journal? I've never actually worked that out. Do you write on the papers like a diary? Or is it like the original Smash book?

Both. I use it as a place to include journal cards photos, cards I get from you lovely ladies and family members, business cards I collect along the way. they are like an art journal =D

I checked out your link and found I had already commented on it a couple months ago!

I've saved packaging like that, thinking it's pretty enough to use on a LO. Now I see that I really DO need to try it! Thanks for the inspiration!!
