What are your plans for the last work day of the week?

I've watched a face-off between a deer and a pheasant this morning (both lost interest, but it was tense for a moment) with a squirrel watching too. I lead a gripping life, don't I?

Card making after lunch, and DH is finishing early.

That's all here. How 'bout you? Practically anything can beat that for excitement.

It can be entertaining watching critters.

Friday is my deep cleaning day. I'll probably start in the kitchen today. The dishes in the dishwasher are clean, so there are used dishes from dinner last night stacked up everywhere. It's driving me nuts. Usually I clean the kitchen after dinner. Then I'll start laundry, clean the basement bathroom, sweep, dust, change bed sheets, and clean the other two bathrooms.

I feel like taking a nap first. I didn't sleep very well. I guess I had a lot on my mind last night.

I am off to a cooking/nutrition class this morning, then going to my dad's to spend time with J for 1-2 hours before I head off for my night away. I'll get home late saturday night and probably go to bed. Sunday is a busy day of church, saying goodbye to friends that are moving. J is going to a birthday party and then maybe we'll get a little bit of family time in there. Have a good one!

I slept until 8 and now am glued to the news, as they gunned down one of the Boston bombing suspects overnight, and the other is still on the run....

I get to stay home again today. Then Mark and I are going to town this evening, so I can get Britt's shower gift (shower tomorrow) and finally, a printer - LOL

Britt & Jav arrive late.

scrapping, maybe a little cleaning thrown in.

I have to stop at the store when I drop my son off - a bag of oranges I bought yesterday has a moldy mushy one in it. Then I'm going to stop in Michaels to see if they have some new dollar stamps.

Nothing on tap today out of the ordinary. Work then doing the weekly grocery run.

Tomorrow we are installing a tile backsplash in our kitchen. Sunday will probably be grouting the tile backsplash (fingers crossed) and blessed Monday is a day off from everything!!

I've been watching the news too. Now I'm getting ready to go to Zumba. Then to Target for some pjs for Lucia, garbage bags and laundry detergent. I forgot to get all that the other day at Sam's. I don't have to cook today since we have lots of wonderful leftover from this week. I'm going back to the healthclub later for a body combat class. That's it for me.

Doing the WM thing today. We need a new house phone, but WM has nothing in stock. DD is staying the night for the 1st time with a friend. I'm the one who's nervous! She won't have a problem!

Chris took the day off and we are going to look for a new dishwasher. Our old one broke, he fixed it last week and the part blew again. It is 8 years old so I shouldn't be surprised but it wasn't an expense I wanted at this time.

Today is a Target run.

This afternoon my oldest dd and I are headed downtown to an art museum. She needs to visit 3 museums/galleries and write a review to finish up the requirements for her Fine Arts Letter - she really wants to earn the rainbow cord for graduation Last week we went to an exhibit on Degas - Beyond the Ballerinas, it was very interesting!

Day 2 still no voice. So I will do more of the same as yesterday, hanging out on the couch but will also work on the baby shower decorations.

Everyone stay safe and feel better. Boo.

I'm trying to figure out how early is too early for one of these.

Challenging week.

If the sun is over the yard-arm, then it's not too early. Cheers!

You have to be British. I heard it a lot from reading novels by British authors and British shows.

Nora - at 8 years old I should think it'd still work fine. But you know what they say about not making things like they used to.

It's a sailing term. When the sailing ships were heading across the ocean, and the sun had moved round so that it appeared over that cross-bar on the mast, it was time for the sailors' daily ration of rum. Or

Debbie, feel better soon girl.

Spent the morning getting my hair colored and trimmed.

I've been working on cards this week. Have a whole slew of them to make for the next couple of months!

This morning Ben and I went to my cousins to visit with my aunt and uncle while they are in town. My aunt has breast cancer and now it has moved into her lungs so she is in for some chemo this afternoon. We had a nice visit with them and just got home a little while ago. I had some lunch and Ben is napping so will just putter until he wakes up for some lunch. He popped a tooth yesterday! Hoping that is what was making him not want to nap so much during the day so that he can go back to his regular routine!

Not much on the agenda for today. I should finish the lo that is on my table and make a birthday card for my FIL. Hmm maybe I'll use the card challenge for that!
