Yesterday I went to the rec center (dumb snow!!) and made it around the track about 6 times before I had to call it quits, my shoes still don't fit right and the pain in my arch and the outside of my right foot is just excrutiating! So I did 5 minutes on an eliptical (good lord that was hard lol) and 20 minutes on a bike since I was already there

Today, weather providing, I get to try Zumba for the 1st time! very excited!!

I hear Zumba is really fun. Our gym had it for awhile, but the times never worked out for my schedule.

I've been getting to the gym at least 3 times a week, but I've been slacking about doing my two days of Zcut at home. I'm just not motivated to work out at home..no excuses. I just need to do it.

My workout week has been different this week. Usually I go to the gym Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. This week I went Monday, Wednesday, and I'll probably go tomorrow.

Monday- abs, chest, triceps, cardio
Wednesday- abs, back, biceps, cardio

I walked all the way to church and back. You make me feel lazy in the extreme Jen!

You could have drove back and forth to church, so you should be proud that you walked Rosey!!

I leg pressed 460 lbs today. I'm sure I'll feel the lunges I did tomorrow too.

Ask me to run a mile though and I will collapse in the first 1/2 I'm sure.

Perfect example of why you should push yourself to do something different. It challenges you in a different way. Cardio, plyometric, and aerobic type of exercises are challenging for me.

My walk to church is almost exactly 7 minutes each way. It takes longer to get the car out and to negotiate a parking space when I get there! Admittedly it's a nice steep hill. Today I'm doing it twice so that makes me even more virtuous.

That's great! I'm debating between a Zcut workout or just walking up and down my stairs for 10 minutes. Stairs is a good workout. I'm cleaning today, so I wont have time to go to the gym.

I think vacuuming stairs is about the best work-out and warm-up for anyone.

I am so thrilled - I think I have finally found a running shoe that will work for me - today I did 3 miles total with no pain and my 2nd mile was the fastest pace I have done since 2010

That IS exciting. There's nothing like sore feet for putting a girl off doing anything. Anything.

Thanks Rosey!!! No joke about putting off the running!

Jen - I am in a men's Saucony Hurricane. For the longest time I had Asics but then the problems began. The Brooks Adrenaline were ok, but each new addition fit just a little off and this newest one was horrendous. I then tried the Ravenna but it was too narrow. Back to Asics, nope! So fingers crossed that this will work! I apparently have ridiculously wide feet and a mens shoe will give me more options, lol.

I got in 4 miles yesterday, but it wasn't pretty, lol. It was just so hot, I couldn't get into a good groove and every time I tried to speed up a bit, my calves would start cramping. However, the plus side was that there wasn't any foot pain, so I'm happy with that!!

Nice that your shoes are working out.

Yesterday I went to the gym and did a chest/tri/ab/cardio workout. Today I did (well sort of, lol) a Zcut wo. It was rough. I only made it through one round. I'm sore from yesterday.

I finally made it to Zumba!! It was a lot of fun, but much tougher than I thought it would be. Apparently I am a much better dancer in my head, lol. My feet and arms just wouldn't do what I wanted them too! But my friend and I just laughed and tried to keep up. We definitely plan to try and make is a regular thing
