Tote bags! Think I've literally make dozens of them already, with all kinds of printed fabrics, for friends and relative, as gifts. Thought these would be nice to make and give for fundraisers.

I should look for some of that! I like the butterfly one. I have a friend online that went through a double mastectomy (I've mentioned this before - her mother died from breast cancer and she had precancerous cells). Been a rough ride for her with reconstruction.
Anyway, it would be nice to make her something.

I'm going to stop in tomorrow and look. I was hoping to see it online to see what options there were but I couldn't find any pink ribbon. (Of course, just this moment it occurred to me to use the words 'pink ribbon' but only 3 come up and ones a fleece and the other isn't that kind of pink ribbon fabric.

My daughter was looking at flannels when I saw a couple of pink ribbon flannels. That made me go look for them in the regular fabric. I found these 4, and they were totally different from the flannel prints.

Hey, I can't give away all my secrets!!

It's by Lazy Girl Designs. Found the pattern 1 1/2 years ago on display in Joann's. Very easy and simple to make....

Thanks....I'll have to go hunting for it.

Not like I don't have 532 pinned, at least.

Hmm, how hard are these tote bags Virginia? I have a ton pinned too but am so scared to buy a pattern and try. Do they have zippers? By the end of this year I want to master putting in a zipper! I have NEVER done it but for some reason, I want to learn.

No zippers. It's a fairly easy, simple bag to make.

It's been ages since I worked with zippers. These days I have no desire to make anything with zippers. I should give it a try, because I have seen a lot a bags I like with zippers....

I did find the fabric. It's 30% off right now so I'll wait (it's $10/yd - I thought it probably was going to be).

I don't always pay attention to price. Usually I'm shopping the calicos. Every now and then I find other fabrics that catch my attention, then I look at price. If I have coupons, I don't worry about the cost.
