Four out of five in this house were quite sick so we had to stay home from the long planned festivities. I was so looking forward to the Easter brunch we planned and spending time with everyone in both families. It plain stunk! Everyone here was laying around sick so I just cleaned and cleaned and cleaned some more... We're giving it another shot this weekend for my MIL's birthday. Hopefully it works. We were going to look adorable in our new outfits!!!! Argh!!!

I know what you mean. I actually don't mind them all sick at once. They are good and just play quietly or watch tv. What kills me the most is all the laundry! They change sheets and clothes a couple times a day to stay fresh and clean so I'm stuck with load upon load lol

Thank you girls! As it turned out, Lucia progressed to full blown croup and her fever is at 104.2 with terrible shakes and blotchy skin. Mia lost her voice and is still courting the 103s, her cough is pretty rough sounding. Bianca's fever went down to about 100, not bad, but she is pretty weak. Nobody is going to school tomorrow and I already called the doctor to let her know that we may or may not need care. Lets hope for the best.

You guys, I'm so going to get sick aren't I?

Brock had croup a couple weeks ago...high fever and even a rash that we thought pointed to strep, but thankfully wasn't...I did not get it full blown, but my husband did...hope they are on the mend soon Vivi, and I hope you don't get it!!!

Oh no poor Brock! This year has been tough on illnesses. Lucia spiked tonight at 105.3 and deteriorated rapidly. I put her in the shower with me and she got really sleepy. Gave her more meds and rocked her until she asked to go in her crib. Now I'm waiting a few more minutes and I'll go check on her fever again. She breaks my heart. Mia didn't say two words today and has a high fever too poor baby. I have a feeling it's going to be a long night...

No, I did not. My kids are all notorious for running super high fevers. Mia ran at 106 for two weeks when she was a baby. Kept going to the doctor and everything. They never admitted her because she was not dehydrated and was acting appropriately sick.

I did speak with the nurse yesterday and let her know what her temp was. At this point we are watching the croup and bringing down the fever at home. If things change and she stops drinking we need to go in. Right now it's status quo. It was a looooong night dough.
