thank you Jesus!

We'll go across town around noon & have lunch with Mark's family. No other plans. Probably come home & watch some basketball.

Happy Easter everyone!

The Easter bunny visited this morning.

Then I made a pumpkin pie, and started my turkey and sweet potatoes. It smells like Thanksgiving dinner in my house.

Tidied up the house, ate lunch, and taking a break before I get myself ready.

I thought it was going to be a rainy day, but it's turning out to be a beautiful day. Perfect weather for an Easter egg hunt.

Happy Easter to all of you!

The Easter bunny came to our house last night and I was able to go back to bed after seeing what he delivered.

After 30 minutes, I heard the boys bouncing off the walls and my DH groaning. I giggled and said to myself, " yep the sugar rush has hit."

Today, we are doing an egg hunt, and for dinner, a ham, broccoli, salad and sweet potatoes. For dessert, I am making a peach crisp.

Happy Easter to all!!

It's winding down here, only one family gathering today. The IL's are all sick so they cancelled their shin-dig. Got to see one grandson today -- but had to share him as he made his debut appearance to my whole family. He was snatched right outa my hands!!

Here is an Easter pic taken last weekend of the both of them....

Went to breakfast with my sister and dad and then saw my sister off to boot camp today

Other than that, it's been a lazy day. Just got lunches/breakfasts ready for the rest of the week. Making pizza for dinner now.

We had my mom, inlaws and SIL here. We had an alright day. DH and I are very tempted to tell his parents that the next occassion we host they are welcome to attend but if his sister cannot act like a human being then she is not welcome. I have never been to a gathering at anyone's place where she did not have at least one tantrum. And she's in her early thirties. She sits and pouts and never participates in the conversation. And if she does by some chance it is always something that is rude or is trying to make people feel sorry for her. She brought her laptop this time and spent 80% of the time they were here downstairs playing on it. The rest of us played cards at the dining room table. Since we have an open concept house she could have sat in our living room upstairs and been somewhat social but no. MIL even asked her to stay up and she said no. We are over tip toeing around her. So sick of her childish behavior.

Sorry for the vent!
