Anyone in here a runner? Did you like it at first or learn to like it? Do you get the runner's high?

I run. I hated it at first because I just didn't have the endurance. But once I hit the first 5K run and did it without any problems I got the high. MAJOR!!! I love it now and really enjoy it best once I start to feel the pain of my muscles working. For some reason working out without any pain makes me feel like I'm not doing enough.

I run in short bursts intermingled with my walking...my goal s to run a 5k by the end of summer...my problem with running though, s no matter what weight I lose or how much in shape I get, I am big on 'top' if you get my drift, and I am not that comfortable running...I have never found a good enough bra that works for running.

I used to LOVE to run!! Then my boobs kept getting bigger, the bigger they got the less I ran. I miss it but not enough to endure the chest problems.

Running shoes, pants, shirts and bras. There is a reason for specialized clothing. Compression pants help with muscle endurance and such. Wicking with keeping the body at the right temps. You get the idea... Running shoes make all the difference of course. I have studio fitness shoes and running shoes.

Lord no!! That is one thing I HATE to do. I sometimes will do intervals but am so out of shape right now that would be scary.

And yes, get running shoes. I actually bought some for doing the intervals and was so happy that I did.
