Hello, and welcome! There are so many die cutting machines that have come out since the Sidekick! Here are a few:

Sizzix Big Shot
Sizzix Big Shot Pro
Cuttlebug
Spellbinders Grand Calibur
Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vagabond

Why do you want a new machine? Is the old one just past its best? Or do you fancy a change? Do you want more features?

The Grand Calibur is bigger and will take larger embossing folders and dies.

I have a Cuttlebug which I adore. It is robust and compact, but I don't believe it does anything different from the Sidekick.

Tell us what you want from your machine? Then we'll be able to help you a bit better.

Welcome to the site!

I want to apologize, I posted this twice by accident.

I think the Sixxiz is just past its prime, I like the how compact and simple it is, I don't have to plug anything up, and it is done quite effortless. I don't have much space as I live in 1 bedroom apt and my scrapbook room is in my laundry room.

No problem! If you want compact, my vote would be the Cuttlebug because it folds up small and the footprint is smaller than the others, I believe. It does the same as the Sidekick.
