How is it treating you?

Please send up some prayers for Susi today as she has her second cataract surgery and has some other tests done, which she is worried about. And some more for Michelle for her appointment with the new Dr.

I'm being productive. I was up at 7am, put out the rubbish and recycling and got a load of washing in the machine, and sorted out food for the crock pot. I'm just going to chop it all and put it in now. I've had breakfast, checked out all my forums and e-mails and it's not 9am yet. I love days like that!

You?

10:20am and the washing is outside drying, the crock pot is simmering, and I'm just sitting down with a quick cuppa before I go and start the bread. At this rate I should be finished by lunchtime and then I can scrap.

wow! way to go!

I was looking forward to a walk this morning but it is pouring rain out. I am thinking that I might put on a raincoat and at least get out for a bit even if it's not as long/far as yesterday. We'll see. I'm just grabbing a snack and checking emails, etc and then will decide for sure.

Either way I have floors to scrub, walls to scrub, laundry to do.... never ending.

Never ending indeed. A woman's work is never done.

The kitchen is clean, the beef is cooking nicely, the bread is done and cooling. I'm doing to have some for lunch, then scrap.

Or actually, now you've got me wondering whether I should go out for a walk. It's quite beautiful out today after the last few days of drama. Temps are in double figures, the wind has swung round from the north instead of north-east and we have blue sky and fleecy clouds. Hmmm...

I thought about Michelle and Susi today too. Good luck ladies!

I was planning on going to the gym, and to my parents house after the girls got home from school. Today is my dad's 63rd birthday. I woke up to snow and a 2 hour school delay, so I'm not sure. I guess it depends on the roads. I have plenty around the house to keep me busy. I need to make a birthday card for my dad...procrastinator. I'll probably make my mom's birthday card while I have everything out. Her birthday is March 31st. She'll be 63 too.

I would love to be able to take a walk but it's freezing cold here!

Today I have the usual house things, then religious Ed, then workout, then bed. Trying to think of something good for dinner... I think I will also wrap Bianca's presents for Saturday. Friday is their party.

I did 3 plus km's . When I left it wasn't raining, coming home it sprinkled a little bit.

Now I'm concentrating on getting some church stuff done (that I have been procrastinating on).

Me too... Hubby said I probably walk further because of all the hills! I like that idea.

Hills are awesome! It's pretty hilly here too and I love the feel of my muscles working to climb.

Good luck Michelle and Susi!!

I am finally going to the doctor today - I have been sick with this cold/sinus thing for 3 weeks now, time to give in, lol!! Gorgeous weather here in Colorado, so I hope to get in some running/walking and then this evening I am seeing Quartet with a friend

I guess I wont be going to see my mom and dad today. My dh said the roads are still slick and he wants me to stay home. They worked 14 accidents in just four hours, and the county officers had an 8 car pile up and a 15 car pile up.

The best way to be! I was thinking of working out in the morning but I'm too lazy to go out in the cold.

My dh left at 4am this morning for Florida. Off to a conference with his boss for 6 days. Ben and I are not going anywhere today. My mom is coming in tomorrow for a week or so. When she is here I know she will want to go do some shopping so I am ok with staying in today. Glad she is coming or else the dogs wouldn't get walked for 6 days since the paths are too snow covered for me to take Ben with me!

Well I had plannnned on staying home all day (ha)

Until my phone beeps (and wakes me) at 8:15, it's Jeremiah texting to ask if I'd go to court with him (concerning his expired dl ) at 9:00

Good thing I get the coffee ready the night before! Run downstairs & flip that on, take the dogs out, get dressed, pin my crazy hair up, grab coffee, a banana, and run out the door. We walk in about about 9:02 and the "gallery" is full. Of course people are called alphabetically and 'Miah is a W

We get out of there around 10:15 and go to the dmv. Then to get dog food for Hugo & gas for both cars. It's 26* and winnndy, so that was no fun! Jeremiah heads home & I run through McD's for a fish sandwich. Just got home at noon and am sitting here taking a breather! It's one thing if you plan for these type of mornings.... but another if they catch you by surprise!

Now I shall pack for our long weekend away (going to Nascar race in Bristol, TN) and I bowl league tonight.

Good luck to those going to docs today! Amanda, do you live where you have a yard? Just wondering. I'm doing some homework, want to get supper a little earlier tonight (have no idea what), and it's my tv night.

Yup we have a yard. It is not huge but an ok size. The problem is though that both the dogs are so big and have a lot of energy and one of them will not play out in the yard, especially in the winter. He goes and does his business and wants back in. He loves walking and but has no interest whatsoever in the backyard other than for the bathroom and laying on the deck in the summer. Duke will play for awhile out there but if we don't watch him after awhile he wants to eat the trees! Depends on weather for him too, he is a Boxer so he doesn't have a thick coat so in the winter he doesn't like to be out too long either.

I went to work and now am on here, getting nothing accomplished. Not sure I care, though. I am allowing myself to be lazy until I have to pick Char up after school.
