Instead of die-cutting as I scrapbook, I decided that it would be so much easier to have basic embellishments cut out ahead of time. They can get kind of expensive, so I spent some time today cutting them on my machines. I cut chipboard cameras from Create a Critter, Polaroid frames (free SVG),and photo corners (Sizzlit die). I cut them in kraft, black, and white so that they will work on just about any page.
I was also able to get my hands on some butterfly and speech bubble wood veneer shapes. I'm not really trendy, but these are just so cute that I had to buy some.
Does anyone else die-cut embellishments in batches, or do you cut as you go?

I cut as I go. I like to keep my options open.

I plan/print/cut as I go. I never know what I'm going to do until I do it.

As I go too. My issue is space, and flat paper takes up less space than made-up embellishments.
Speech bubbles are really trendy right now.

As I go. I tried to do it ahead before and find when I go to scrap it I either forget I have it or else want it in a different size and/or color.

I also cut as I go. I'll never know exactly what I want or what color I would want it in. But I do save some of my extras, so if I cut a big black gear and then decide that I actually want a little black gear, I save the big one for future.

Oh yes, I always save what I don't use. That's what cards are for.

I cut as I go too. However, sometimes I don't wind up using it and have a large box going with my "rejects." I often will go through them and put them on a card or a different page if I think it needs a little "something."

I generally cut as I go. However, I will cut multiples of something basic if I know I'll use it. I have a container on my desk with pre-cut circles and squares, as I use those a lot in card making.

Generally cut as I go......but will have a cut up if I am off to a crop, and will cut some in white that I can colour to match if I can be bothered.

I've done it both ways, But I do create things ahead of time a lot and store them on my sticker stands. I think you were so smart to do this and it will inspire you to create! Good for you.

I cut as I go, but always use the scraps to cut out random objects to save for later use. keeps my scrap bin from getting over loaded and gives me some choices when creating a new page! I file the random die cuts by color so I can find them easily!
