What's going on with you and yours today?

I have to run out and pay my car insurance. The quote I got from the local place 2 weeks ago finally arrived this morning. And when I looked at the envelope, I worked out why. The address showed my name, town, county, post code. No street name or number. The post code narrowed it down to about 20 houses. I'm amazed it arrived at all! They also spelled my name wrong and got the car reg wrong. I have a feeling that after this, they'll check a little more carefully.

DH is back in work so it's nice and quiet here. The ships are sailing past, the gecko is sleeping, the sun is out in a hazy, lazy, chilly way. The daffodils and crocuses are just starting to show and we have primroses in the lawn coming out. It's a beautiful day.

Ohhh I want crocuses and primroses popping out! Spring feels like it might be around the corner here, and I am so looking forward to it's arrival.

tuesday, eh! we were supposed to have company for supper but the mom is sick. So i tried getting another set of friends in but the schedule didn't match up. It's a good thing no one can come I have a touch of something again. We were in to visit my grandmother at the nursing home sunday evening and monday i felt icky all day, sore belly, etc. got an email last night saying that no one can go visit because the nursing home is closed to visitors due to the flu. Great, just great. Today my stomach isn't feeling that much better. I am praying some hard that the boys don't get it. J doesn't need to be sick over march break.

If I can muster up some energy I need to get a couple of things baked for lunches/snacks.
I also need to throw some ingredients in the bread maker for some bread.

plus there's always laundry to work on.

Still feeling stuffed up and just generally gross. Ben is still stuffy and coughing too. I assume dh is but he left for work while we were still sleeping. Did some baking last night and made a mess in the kitchen so I cleaned that up this morning. Put more bread in the breadmaker. The darn old thing is still hanging on. Ben just went down for his nap so I am going to throw some laundry in and scrap a birthday card for my aunt. This afternoon we may go get some groceries since it is 10% off day.

I've had a crazy last couple of weeks! Went down to Dallas to visit family and run in the Ft Worth Cowtown races. I ran the 10K with my sisters and the next day did the half marathon. I then promptly came down with the worst cold I've ever had and been knocked down for the last week and am finally feeling human again!!

Today is furniture day - I had ordered new couches and chairs and they are being delivered today. The cats destroyed the other sets, so I plan to wrap miles of aluminum foil to hopefully stop them this go round, lol!!!!

Greg vacuumed the whole house yesterday and the girls helped clean the upstairs too. So today I'm cleaning the downstairs and doing laundry. The girls have a snow day and are playing outside with their friends while Lucy naps.

I'm worried that they might cancel my zumba tonight so I'm figuring out plan B just in case. I ran yesterday and did a strength training class. Maybe I can shovel and run a 5K again today... These are the things I worry about! LOL

Stephy, got your bat signal LOL I'm up to my eyebrows planing parties, communions, outings with friends and more parties! The next three months are going to be busy busy!

Went out with hubby and hunted down a Tuesday Morning store and got scrap paper and we had lunch out, too. And stopped in Target, and Walmart and some other stores.
