It's grey and murky here today. Not raining, but lots of low cloud, and chilly - about 2*C (36*F).
I had a lazy day yesterday, but today I'm full of energy so I'm washing and drying a quick load of towels then heading out to get this toothbrush and some groceries.
What's on your list today? What's the weather like where you are?

I woke up with serious issues this morning. Zumba, running and now I've added body combat two days in a row. I'm stiff and the pain is at ouch crap step level. I better look like flipping Jillian Michaels by the time Summer comes!
Anyway, we're expecting six inches of snow today with high winds, which I can already hear out there, and poopy roads. I will try and do house work this morning and do the whole carpool, dance, dinner thing in the evening. I hate snow, hate, hate snow!!!!!!!

Megan- THat is a fantastic idea.
We aren't scheduled to get as much snow as Viv, but we have rain/sleet all morning and snow this afternoon. Will prove to be super messing I am guessing. I woke up to the sleet pounding on the windows.

Megan Give me 2 pina coladas... I want one for each hand... (Make mine non-alcoholic )
Temps will be around 40 I think. I shoveled off the rest of hubby's side of the driveway. May be going back out in a few to get on the roof. Again. It's the climbing on and off the ladder I hate. That part scares the crap out of me.
Maybe some scrapping and painting my picture. The branch part may be about done. I'll have to start in on the flowers.
Just checked the weather while typing this because I heard another storm is on the way. Yep, we have a storm warning for tomorrow for a lot of heavy snow. D@mmit... definitely have to go on the roof and shovel it off so it doesn't collapse on my scrap stuff.

Today is supposed to get to -3C and they are predicting 2cm of snow this afternoon - so a lovely day for here! The sun isn't shining though - it is overcast.
I had a bit of a sore tummy last night before bed and again this morning. Maybe too much french onion soup!? Hoping that goes away.
The only major things on my to do list are to vacuum in the couches (when that chore comes around is when I regret letting the pups on the couches) and meal plan for the week and make the grocery list. Other than that I plan to scrap!

it is sunny here today. It was cold but has warmed up some, not in the +'s yet, though.
I had a meeting this morning. Then I made myself another doctors appointment to see if we can get this sinus stuff cleared up.
I need to make bread and cookies this afternoon. Do laundry and tidy up some more. I don't think I'll ever catch up and if I don't take breaks I get too exhausted and my body won't function right the next day. I need a new body!
oh and kids church program tonight, it's pj night!

Worked all morning covering for a vacationing rep. Home now, having lunch and a cup of tea. This afternoon I have to soak off shellac nails, try to get lots of work related stuff done on the laptop, and make dinner. It is sunny and above freezing here but tomorrow has storm warnings and all the weather that you guys are having today. It is supposed to start overnight.

They make roof rakes but I don't have one. It has a reallllly long handle so you stand on the ground.

do you have a flat roof? we get lots of snow and haven't had to shovel our roof yet (knock on wood) but I have had to help shovel the roof over my dad's garage before as it had 3 feet of snow on it.

No, it has a peak but it's not a steep angle. Even so, snow that sticks should be removed if possible. Especially on the edges as you can get ice dams that can cause water to back up under the shingles when it melts.
1 sq ft of wet snow that's an inch deep is one lb. If you have 1000 sq ft with 4 inches of wet snow, that's 4000 lbs of weight on your roof. (They actually didn't specify wet or not in the report but I'm going with wet. LOL)
