sure is quiet around here!
I've been out of bed since about 6. Woke up whenever hubby had gotten out of bed and ready to leave. He and daughter gone to Disney for a few days. Right now it's snowing.
Working on a cherry branch painting for daughter's room. Got the branches drawn, now adding the flowers.

My sil texted me yesterday and asked if the girls and I would like to go shopping today. It's going to be me, my dd's, sil, niece, and mil going. The guys might meet up with us for dinner. Should be fun!

I just measured the snow on the front railing. I'd say it's fairly accurate as we're not getting blowing and drifting. It's about 8 inches and still snowing.

It is supposed to be a nice day here. We slept in as we got back late from the wedding last night. Now I am impatiently waiting for dh to get his rear off his computer and go shower so we can have some brunch, I am starving and he is the egg fryer in this house! We have to go out this afternoon and drop off a baby gift and get some dog food. Will take the dogs for a walk at some point today. Trying a new lasagna recipe for supper that I saw on Rachael Ray, it is a meatball lasagna.

3 inches in 4 hours? 
I've had a looooong day too. I had to drop DH off at his collection point half an hour from us at 7:45 this morning. Then it was home, church with my BFF who stayed last night, then lunch. We spent the afternoon scrapping. I finished the LO I began last night, and she made a door hanger and half a LO as well as cutting out half her papers with my dies! Then we went for a quick walk around the lake but the wind took our breath away. We had some snow flurries. It was biting.
Then dinner (venison stew) and more scrapping, and she left 45 minutes ago. It's only 9:15pm and I'm whacked! I have to stay up for her call to say she's home safely, about another 1.5 hours. And then leave my phone on so DH can let me know when he's arrived safely in Kuala Lumpur.

It's still snowing at 4:30. We had to have gotten at least a foot if not more - it wet and heavy and a bit melty so it's compacting now.

Go out there and make a snowman! The girls played outside for three hours making snow forts. I dragged the whole family to the health club and took a body combat class. Came home and wer are pampering ourselves. Greg has a man date with his best friend and the girls are playing now. I might go do some sit ups and push ups later.

ah, see it doesn't work that way. You have to use wet snow while it's fresh. The temp drops - it's not good now.

Beautiful day here today, high of 66! I wasted it thought by staying inside  Went out and had coffee and donuts, then grocery shopping for dinner. My roommate and I had a Disney day, after doing laundry. We watched 101 Dalmatians, Mulan, Fox & the Hound, then took naps. Made homemade pizza for dinner, which we are eating now. And watching The Walking Dead!

sunday was a decent day. church, quick catnap, watched the boys skate, home and worked on kitchen/watched the car race, made supper. vegged and went to bed early to relax.
Mom to 1 precious boy! He loves hockey.

I wish it was in the 60's here Jen. That is the perfect weather! What do you think of the WD this season? I think they need to move on from the prison. It's getting old. They need to take over Woodbury and get rid of the governor.
