Lillianne and I read Divergent and Insurgent. It's a trilogy, but the third book wont be released until this fall. Very good, similiar to Hunger Games.

I went to the library today looking for Gone Girl, Variant, or the Matched triliogy but none of them were available.

I went and read through all my Rosamunde Pilcher books again, so yes! I finished off with The Shell Seekers and then September.

I'm just starting the newest Jennifer Chiaverini quilt book though at this starting point, I'm not so sure it's as good as the others. And what really bugs me is when an author writes in a time period that hasn't happened yet (and we're not talking futuristic/sci-fi). The times setting in this one is 2028. You don't know how much will have changed in 15 years! It's because she had one of the character's children grown up now. It's The Wedding Quilt.

The librarian told me they got the new Maeve Binchy book. I forgot she had one coming out - she died last year. Asked me if I wanted to be put on the reserve list. Love living in a small town where the librarian knows what you like to read.

I love Divergent! I haven't made it to Insurgent yet though.

I'm totally indulging in the sweetest romance/small town life series ever. It's called The Virgin river series and its by Robyn Carr. I'm so into this I go through books like water and Greg is going to hang me when he sees the bill LOL

I am reading the Steve Jobs biography right now. It is good but not a book you can read a lot of at once kwim? So it is taking FOREVER to get through. Oh and I am also reading one of Cesar Milan's books - dh got it in his stocking from someone at Christmas.

Reading a few different books and just finished The Casual Vacancy. Right now I am into the latest Argenault book by Lynsey Sands, finishing up a murder mystery (the name escapes me), and starting Death Comes to Pemberly again.
I have Divurgent on tap and now I am off to find Vivi's titles.....

I'm waiting on the 3rd one too, a great trilogy.

Right now I'm reading some great books: The One and Only Ivan (Newberry Winner this year), Bossypants, and Delirium. In class, we just finished Henry and Ribsy. Think I'll read Charlotte's Web next so I can bring in some spring.

Also, Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is a must read.

Sharon, I really like this series because the characters from each book stay on in the following ones so you can always catch up on how life turns out for them. I love that. It's also a great series for feel good reading where there is goodness in most of the people and a very strong sense of family, friendship and community. Plus, the love scenes get really steamy!!

A co-worker recommended Atlas Shrugged. I'm maybe 20% through it, it's a very long read, over 1,110 pages! Interesting though. Would be a good one for a book club type discussion. But it's got a very strong political/social/economic theme so it would likely just end up an argument unless everyone had similar beliefs (and then it would be really boring, LOL!)

Jen & Michelle,

What is the difference between Divergent book one and book three? Are they the same book, just a more updated one? I'm looking on Amazon.

I recently read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It was a little bit different but I really enjoyed it.

I just finished The Light Between Oceans and thought it was just okay.

Right now I am reading The Center of Everything by Laura Moriarty and I am enjoying it.
