She's just like me my Bianca is. I catch her reading way past her bedtime all the time. She wakes up cranky sometimes because she stays up too late reading even after several times of me giving her a warning. It's something she just can't help. I know this because it happens to me all the time too. For the most part I catch her with enough time for her to still get a great night of sleep so I'm not too worried. It just makes me smile that she risks getting in trouble for a few more minutes of reading LOL I just can't get mad at her!

I used to do that too. My dad would come by and tell me it was time for lights out so I would read by flashlight!

It's so interesting to me how reading can be such a passion for some but not others. Mia at this time in her life couldn't care less about reading and we catch her playing in the dark with her monster high dolls instead LOL I hope she gets into it like Bianca and I are. Even Lucia has a deep interest in "gooks" like she calls them.

I did this too and Char gets caught with her nook doing this!! However, I didn't have a flashlight. All of us were afraid of the dark so we kept the hall light on and my mother would shut if off when she went to bed. (She was a night owl and rarely went to bed before 1 or 2 am) I would lay in the doorway and read. If I heard my parents come up the stairs, I would get up and pretend I had to use the bathroom so they wouldn't know I was reading!
