What is everyone doing?
I'm planning on scrapping today, then a snack tea tonight and an early night with some relaxation for DH. He was so tired last night.
How about you?

I had a dr appointment in the morning, went there to get some bloodwork done, but he could not find any vein and so I had to go home again. He told me I would not need it for my cataract surgery next week and I hope he is right.
Went and did some grocery shopping afterwards.
Now I have some laundry to do and afterwards I would like to do some scrapping too. Don't have to cook lunch today, because nobody is coming home. So I might have plenty of time.

i got hubby to take the kid to school especially where it is so cold out.
i'm thinking of pulling out an exercise workout on the wii and doing a few things. Then will need to clean up and get ready to go to small group.
Gotta make a loaf of bread today, throw supper in the slow cooker (will do that around noon time as hubby and I can't eat until later)
hockey game tonight for the kid.
Squeeze homework in there somewhere and washing up a few dishes plus folding laundry.

One tip for helping them get the vein is to drink loads for several hours before you have the blood taken. Then there will be more fluid in your blood vessels for them to find.

Stop at the grocery store after dropping off son.
Wash sheets and catch up on ironing. Possibly get back to cleaning up scrap desk.

Thanks for the tip, he wants to try it again when it is warm outside - so I should wait and then drink lots of water before. I did not drink anything today, so that might be the reason that it did not work at all.
They only do the right eye, because I am born with it and then you should not make both eyes at once. I might be overwhelmed with how good I see then. I really hope that it works well, I am such a chicken when I have to go to a hospital. But it is not fun anymore - you should me see scrapbooking (like an old woman -which I know I am already).

Good luck with your surgery Susi! When I had Ben they had to give me an IV for my epidural and the nurse told me my veins were a nurse's dream cause they were so easy to find! LOL!
My day is going to be much like yours, going to wake Ben up soon to eat so we can head out to his doctor's appointment, then to the bank and then groceries. Then hoping to scrap this afternoon!

Susi, when they couldn't find my veins, they'd wrap a warm towel around my hand & that would do the trick.
My plans for today?
Not sure yet. Yesterday was a very rough day, so as long as it's better than that.... I'll be good

Thanks for all your tips - I am just wondering now - should'nt my doctor know about those tricks too???? I cannot even tell he just wanted to get me out, he really tried and tried and tried...for nearly 45 minutes.

Susi, that is kind of odd that he didn't try little tricks. My dad had cataract surgery and is tickled with the results. He has 20/20 vision now when before he was close to legally blind.
I went to the gym this morning (abs/legs/shoulders.) I prefer working out late morning/early afternoon though. I'm not morning person.
I need to clean up mess in the kitchen from last night, and figure out what to fix for dinner tonight. I have a few more kitchen cabinets to purge and organize too.
I have a long 'to do' list, but I just don't know what I feel like doing today other then the kitchen. I guess we'll see.

scrap therapy is acceptable.... right?
I mean, there are 100 things I could be doing - that neeeed to be done....
But a scrappy day (first one in many months) is justifiable after a poopy yesterday, don't ya think?

Just got back from the grocery store. It was very busy for the impending storm - I actually really needed groceries regardless of snow.
Stupid bagger though - I ask for paper now and one back he loaded up 8 lbs of meat on top of my packages of shredded cheese. and overpacked the bag because it was busting through just putting it into the car!
Then stopped at Michaels to use my coupons on tealights and lamp oil. Geez, the bottle didn't even fill one of my lamps AND it wasn't even empty yet! I probably should've just went to WM for it but didn't want to go into THAT zoo. I didn't think it'd end up a significant price difference with a coupon but looking online, WM would be a MUCH better price.

Nothing new going on today -- work. Blech.
Then a choice of going shopping or going home -- DH has a dinner meeting tonight so no definite need to go straight home. Wonder what kind of trouble I can get into at the mall??

Raining here in Georgia and it is cool so I am still staying in. I have been on Pinterest this AM seeing what I can find to make or work on at least these next two weeks that I am home. I am feeling better but still sore.
I have laundry and dishes to do but I am putting them off as long as I can. LOL I am watching (or mainly listening) the movie "Pitch Perfect" for the 100+ time. My kids love it and I love the music in it. It is upbeat and what I need on days like this.
Hope you all have a good day!!
