the little guy is sick again. we were supposed to go to my dad's for the day as he had no school today but he's spent more time on the toilet than off. We are vegging and I doubt I'll get much done. He's pretty snuggly.
So it's a movie day today.

I hope Jack feels better soon!
Nap? Hmmm, that sounds like a good idea.
Today is a rest day for me as far as exercising goes. I'm going to catch up on laundry and do some organizing.
Lillianne is working concessions for the basketball game after school, so I'll have to pick her up.

It sounds like something he ate that disagreed with him, doesn't it? Some he got rid of with the top end, and whatever was left inside is now being got rid of the other end. Poor kid. Does he get sick a lot?
Nothing special here. It was frighteningly windy last night, we were kept awake by it. I'm quite tired today.

computer tells me it's 28*
I've just been up about half an hour....
We got bookshelves for my scrap room over the weekend, so I'd like to get those in place & start on filling them
On the not so fun side, I will do several loads of laundry and work diligently to get Jeremiah & his dad to fill out forms & fax them up to the apartment complex I put a down payment on yesterday.
Mark bowls tonight, I'll probably chill at home.

he was sick with both ends on friday. and then again today. thursday a kid vomitted in his class and then who knows there was probably another sick kid or more at school on monday...

I have a turkey loaf in the oven, a load of laundry done, the kitchen is cleaned, garbage taken out, drano poured in sink and now I'm going to organize the freezer so I can cook some more stuff. Oh, my eggs are cooked too and the quinoa is boiling right now. I have to figure out the veggies now. I love having dinner ready early.

Just snuggling my boy right now, he's drifting off for his nap. Once he's down I have to call and see if my vehicle is ready since I haven't heard from them yet. Then wipe down kitchen counters and throw laundry in. Have to go to Walmart at some point today so will see if I can coincide that with picking up my vehicle if it is ready. Got to meal plan and make a shopping list. Tonight I am going to a retirement supper for one of the receptionists where I work.

well, we drove down to Manchester after dropping my car off so I could check out Hobby Lobby. It's rather rare we go down that way anymore. Got nothing - went to AC Moore and found a stamp set of lanterns for $2. The ony other set I would've been interested in I already have.
We stopped in at the brake place after getting back and my car wasn't ready yet. After they fixed it and took it for a test drive the brake pedal went all the way down so they have to disassemble it again and see what the problem is. Glad it did that when they had it and not me!

great, now we're talking master cylinder. It started out with just needing new rear brake pads and my drums turned.
Hubby said he knew he didn't like Fords.

I had that once. It failed as I was driving down a steep hill approaching a busy roundabout with a large articulated truck behind me. Terrifying. I whacked it into 2nd gear and put the hazard warning light on - and the button came off in my hand.
I still get the heebie-jeebies when I approach that roundabout even now, several cars and many years later.

I hear you Tam on the vehicle troubles. DH drove to work this morning, went to leave for lunch and the car wouldn't start. Had it towed into the Chev dealer. Got a call a bit later and they say it was the starter -- only problem is, the flywheel wasn't operating either!! If it was a flywheel issue, we are talking serious big bucks I guess. Luckily they called and it was only the starter....still $500 to tow/fix but much better than the alternative!!
Busy day at work today. Getting bits/pieces from DDIL about how they are doing now that the 'family' is home (I did tell you guys she had the baby, didn't I?? Sorry, can't recall). It's taking some time, but they will get used to being a threesome rather than a twosome.
Ummmm -- I think that's it on this end.

I have been busy painting the kitchen and my klutziness is shining through! I managed to back into a wet wall and kick the paint can lol. But it is looking so nice and fresh - a not quite minty light green

Karen - I already had to get the battery replaced a few weeks ago. After Christmas vacation (in which I basically hadn't used the car), it refused to start.
