you make a meal with a meat (or fish, whatever), how many sides do you usually make?

It depends what the meat is...like if it is a piece of fish or chicken usually we will have a veggie or two plus some rice or potato. We often make casserole foods though so usually then just an extra veg or salad.

I used to be really good about having lots of veggies and salads for sides, but my kids and hubby are so ridiculously picky that I just couldn't keep making everything and watch it go to waste (or worse I would eat everything!) So now we usually just have a meat and one veggie or a salad.
