...that DH is sitting in the chair totally engrossed in the superbowl.....talking to the TV....not really understnding the rules....but enjoying it nonetheless.

Once a sports fantic....always a sports fanatic.

I only know a few things. The most important being to get the ball across your endzone and score a touchdown.

For someone who has no notion of what any of that means, it's easy for the mind to descend into the gutter...

It was a good game! I ended up voting for the time that lost but that 2nd half... mostly after the power went out.. was really good.

The commericals were.... ok. My favorite was God made a Farmer by Dodge.

Funny that the commercials have become so important.

OH yes, Rosey. The commercials are a big deal in the Superbowl. They're talked about ahead of time and then after.. as to which is the best.

Here's an example

Rosey!!

I picked the Ravens. 1. I thought their uniform looked nicer (even though I love red and gold - just not in the uniform) and 2. they're the east coast team.

The farmer one was really nice. And the m & m one was good.

I wish they'd dump GoDaddy. They suck.

Oh, but hubby and I were disappointed in the farmer commercial when they didn't end it with Paul Harvey's catch phrase - good day!

That was profound, and beautifully done. And even better, I'll remember that poem long after whatever it was they were advertising.
