I don't know. We have talked about it, but he's coming back from a trip the day before so I'm not sure what will happen.
Usually I make a cake for Xane but he's not going to be at my house that day this year.

We usually go out for supper a day or two before as to avoid the packed restaurants. We will have to see if we can find someone to watch our little munchkin. If so we will use a gift card we have for a fabulous restaurant. If not, we will go somewhere more baby friendly and take him with us.

My dh works, but we wouldn't be going out on Valentine's day anyway. Did I mention before that we like to avoid crowds? That's why our date night is Monday instead of Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
We'll probably go out the following Monday. Bonefish would be my first choice! We'll see.

Aiden has school that day so I'm going to be helping out with his class's V-day party. Then I'm gonna come home and get dolled up and my boys are taking me out to dinner. Then some alone time with Daddy after the boy falls asleep

It's a Thursday? I expect I'll be at choir practise and DH will get home late and watch a movie downstairs in his AV room. Nothing much different fro usual. We don't do flowers, chocolates and meals out on Valentine's Day - never have. Everything costs stupid money and places are packed.
I'll make him a card and he'll buy me one with sparkly thing on "for you to reuse".

We probably won't do anything special on Valentine's Day. Maybe go out to eat on the weekend. He will probably pick up flowers and maybe a box of chocolates for me. I've already made him a mini album, just need to gather up a few pics to put in it.

For the first time ever I think we might brave the crowds. Dh wants to go to a fancy place in the city. I suggested lunch so that it wouldn't be so crowded, but when I started looking at menus online the dinner ones seem too much to resist. Some are even having special Valentine's menus. He has never taken the initiative to do something so I don't want to turn him down. It is our 15th anniversary so I think he's wanting to do something special.

That's where we got put off Heather, by the "special" set menus. To us that just meant no choice and less likelihood of getting something we could eat.
I hope you find something special for your 15th. This year is our 14th.

Yeah right. It's non existant in this house. DH would rather mope around about the ex wife who left him on VD- 16 years ago. Plus, his job is on strike, so the bills are piling up and there is no money coming in. So, same old same old, nothing

It did where we are, and not just one place either. We researched the menus online and stayed at home. Just be aware - if you're not sure, call them and check.

THIS!! With DH's disability check the only income we barely afford groceries. Shut off notices come in and we play the shuffle game trying to stay ahead. Sucks that our 27th anniversary is on the 12th too. I'm sure next year will be better.

Well I guess we're taking the girls to get their hair cut that following Monday since they have no school. I just rescheduled their appointment. I guess my stylist had us down for today, but I had the 16th written on the calendar. No date Monday, maybe Tuesday.
I will be going to both Camy and Abby's Valentine's day parties at school. They always want me to bring in treats. I make them heart shaped foods all day too.

Karen and Carmen.
Karen can you tell Jeff what you would like for Valentine's Day? Is there someone who can look after the children while he cooks you a nice meal at home maybe? Or could you cook it and eat it together?
Men don't take hints and after the honeymoon period they don't take the initiative. But if I let mine know clearly what I would like to do (and flutter my eyelashes a little ) he does it. He wants the best for me, he just doesn't see what that is unless I tell him.
