What's on the agenda for Wednesday? Anything fun?
I have grocery shopping, putting away yesterday's ironing and ironing some more, a little scrapping if I find time. And it's bin day so I'd better get the bins outside quickly - they can come any time between 7:30 and about 4pm.
It's a beautiful bright, blowy day today, up about 15 degrees on last week. For the first time for a while, I really want to go out, even if it's only food shopping.

We have a 2 hr delay (both this time - only it doesn't affect son anyway LOL). It's supposed to get pretty decent temp-wise (low 50's) so I have to see about fixing the leaky outdoor faucet, which means I have to crawl under the house a couple feet to turn the water off. I hope it will fix with just a couple new washers.
Going to stop into Michaels and see if they have large clear photo corners though not holding much hope on that.

Rosey, I can't wait for some nice weather here. It was so warm yesterday but it rained cats and dogs all day.
Today I'm staying home until I have to pick up the girls from school. I have to make lists of things I need to do during the next month and continue organizing stuff in the house. It's looking great already!

For Wednesday....
Work
Dinner out with kids if... (see below)
Check out a baby store which re-sells used items
Home for vegging time
DDIL is about to term with her pregnancy -- well about 2 weeks out. She has been having braxton hicks contractions seriously for the past month. Doc told her Monday that if she didn't go into labor by next Monday, they'd talk about inducing. She is so over this pregnancy and wants Jaxon to come out to play!! So if she feels up to going, we're checking out a store that sells used baby items (pack-n-play) for Grandma's house.

Sheesh! It's blowin' a 'ooligan 'ere! (As they say around my way.) There are white horses on the white horses out at sea, and recycling blowing all up the road. My car got hit by at least 3 plastic bottles on the way home from shopping. Even my storm lantern got blown off the front doorstep, and it's sheltered there.

Hi Nancyroo {waving} good to see you back!
I've no idea what I'll do today. Woke up at 7 something, but managed to doze off again until 9 - woo hoo -
Probably should go through the pile of papers (mail) on the counter that I ignored yesterday
and perhaps work on the last of the box's in my scrap room.
Bowling w/the girls tonight.

We had the high winds last night Rosey along with heavy rain, thunder, and lightening. High 60's yesterday and the high for tomorrow is 14. Crazy weather!
I started laundry and altered an oatmeal container.

No, it's sandy and dry. However, it's damp out so that makes it chillier. I was hoping for sun with the 50's.

Really cold here today...-44C with the windchill. My poor little guy has his first cold so lots of snuggling on the agenda for today. He is supposed to go for his 4 month immunizations tomorrow so I will have to call and see what they say about that.

NOT a happy humpday. (well, semi - I did get my deals which I posted in GS). But you wouldn't believe the acrobatics I've done trying to see if I can fix the leaky faucet. Or at least turn off the water pipe valve but couldn't find one. There's just the main one to the whole house.
So screw that. It's going to have to wait awhile until another decent day. Which was only halfway decent temp wise - it's still been foggy and misty all day. I have to buy a new pipe and faucet piece. I'm glad I went to Ace instead of Home Depot because the guy seemed to really have a clue about it. Capping it is not such a good idea because if it freezes I could end up with a burst pipe and then I'm really screwed.
The silcock in this video is almost exactly the same as mine. But my handle would not come off - the screw is so rusted. Only I don't have a basement - the rest of the pipe that goes into the house is under the subfloor - which is filled in with insulation and has a plastic lining holding the insulation in. Anyway, I dug in and located the pipe and found the connection. But I'm not trying to tackle it today. Shoved insulation back up and tried to duct tape my opening closed. Hopefully it holds up because I had some 3M black stuff and not the genuine mega hold silver stuff.

Oh no Tam, I'm sorry. That sucks. DH fixed a leak under the bathroom sink and thankfully it was just a perished washer. This weather is NOT the time to be messing with burst pipes. Where's your DH in all this? Isn't he a handy-Andy?

He comes home late tonight from a business trip. If he had no delays or anything. He's in Vegas and has a stop in Chicago.
Unfortunately, it's me. Only you can call my handy-Tammy. As a matter of fact - he tried to hook the kids' (main) bathroom sink back up and it leaks so I have to take it apart and do it again. It may just be he didn't wrap the teflon tape enough times around first. Another job I've been putting off.
