under sink storage specifically.....

Do you just put stuff randomly under there, all over the place; or do you put it in baskets?

I'm a bit anal about that I guess and have found that combining Mark and I's bathroom stuff is some of the most difficult - LOL

He's purged very well & ridded the cabinet & drawers of much of his (their) expired / half used products. While cleaning my scrap room I came across a box of first aid supplies, extra shampoo's & misc. bathroom supplies.

I prefer to use plastic baskets, so I can keep things categorized & pull things out without knocking everything down

Don't laugh.......DH and I divided the cabinet in our main bath. Right side is his, left side is mine. We use seperate everything. The only shared items are in the medicine cabinet above (Tylenol, cough medicine, etc.). I have moved alot (everything I need) of my stuff to the half bath on the other side of the house. I can blow dry, style, and makeup without interference, and without bothering him early mornings.

Niether of the bathrooms have drawers. So some of the stuff is corralled in baskets.
In my bathroom, behind the door on my side (there's 3 doors) I put up shelves and I have my hair stuff divided into 3 small baskets.

Under my sink is a disaster!! And the butler's cupboard that we bought when we did the bathroom over 8 years ago has towels underneath and all our medicines in bins on the top. I try to clean and purge but it never seems to make a difference!!

So NOW I can reply.

There is no vanity unit under our sink, just a pedestal to hide the pipes. We have 2 slim medicine cabinets facing each other. They are pretty much arranged as left-half-his, right-half-hers, shared-stuff-in-between. We've always done that.

We have various "overflow" places; in the old airing cupboard; a little wheeled trolley with 3 shelves both in the bathroom; and in the en-suite cupboard. One day I'm hoping to get rid of the trolley, once we've used up the excess stuff that we got multiples of in Oz. I'm always purging.
