Okay - I'm in need of a serious cheering up. What do you do that makes you happy. I'm talking deliriously happy. The kind of happy that makes you forget all your troubles?
I'm making a list and gonna do as many as I can.
I'm starting with going to visit Rosey for the weekend!
What else?

I don't think there is anything. Not that I could afford because I think a trip to the UK would make me deliriously happy.
I otherwise try and drown my sorrows with a long hot bath and book.

I go for a walk on the beach in the fresh air with my camera. We can do that too. Bring your wellies!
Make something. I love making candles as well as the obvious cards and LOs and mini-albums. Colouring is mindless yet absorbing.
Listen to classical music in the car. I found that my stress levels dropped massively on my morning commute when I switched from the cheerful, frenetic, upbeat local radio to Classic FM. I really didn't expect that.
Have a massage.
Do something nice for someone else. Buy coffee for the person behind you in the queue. Send a RAK to someone.
(I asked DH for a suggestion and he said "run nekkid down the road". I was why would that make you deliriously happy? He said it would make HIM happy if he knew you were doing it just 'cos he'd said so. Sure you still want to come and stay? )

Yes, the beach is a good one! I have to drive a little over an hour to get there though.

My first thought was sex.
My dd's always cheer me up too. Lots of belly laughs are a great mood buster.
What about some retail therapy? Shopping cheers me up too.

Wait till you see our little place! We have one spare room, sort of, which is DH's home cinema room with a (very comfortable actually) double futon in. We have another single guest bed which lives in the craft/computer/music room. That's it. But there's a Premier Inn 2 miles down the road!
Oh and don't worry about Mr C - I'll keep him under control. Purple wellies rock!
