Have you seen that advert in the bar at the top?

Well it annoys me because, yes, they do ship to the UK, but they've been doing it for a while now, and the shipping starts at $31.50. STARTS at $31.50. I know they can't make a loss, and I'm not dissing the site one bit. It's not their fault that the shipping costs annoys me!

So anyway, I got this app which allows me to block specific ads, and I blocked just that one. When I load the page with that ad on, there is just a blank space. I am gob-smacked by how many times I get a blank space.

Must be tied to your IP address or something because I never see it. I do see a lot for stamping supplies.

It annoys the Crappoli out of me too!!!!!!

To think I can get free shipping from some sites I refuse to pay the mega bucks they want here. I could not believe the price I was quoted to send some stuff that would basically go inside a flat rate envelope........at that stage the flat rate ship was $9.95 but they wanted over $50 ......now tell me who is making money on the deal........

I don't think ScrapJazz benefits, just the shipping agent. They just use a high-quality agent which charges a second mortgage - which gets passed on to us. It doesn't put me off the site, but I won't order anything to be sent outside the US. If I want to send a scrappy gift to America though, I'll go there first.

You may be able to request the flat rate if you email or phone maybe? The order page might just have basic options, kwim?
Doesn't hurt to ask.

That is a pretty sad response "it is what it is"?
