Hay all My new job requires me to ware a hairnet... I totally have no problem with that. The problem is that the rest of the day I walk around with hairnet head... all matted with frizzy flying anywhere AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! So I thought I would see if any of you have any experience with hairnets and have any suggestions on what to do with my hair so I don't scare the people at the store when I run erions after work.

When I worked at the hospital I had to wear a hairnet every day. I wore my hair in a short bob and it wasn't to bad after work. Do you have to wear a specific kind? They have ultra light ones that don't mess with your hair.

I'm afraid I have no useful advice about hairnets. My own hair is so self-opinionated that it wouldn't keep a hair-net on. It even pushes hats off my head.

But I did want to congratulate you on your new job! What are you doing?

I am working in the lunchroom at my kids school. I had worked in the same craft store for 13 years until last January when the new owners shut the whole company down (still not happy about that) I went from that to a little party store but it was just not the same the work ethic was non existent and I was becoming a mean person. So when I got a call from a friend at the school asking me if I wanted to apply I jumped at it. the whole thing is a big change for me. I have worked nights for the last 13 years... as well as being in retail and management. This is all different on every aspect. I am having a hard time adjusting to thing. But the kids love having me home I don't like that I cant go to work and come home to a clean house anymore I really miss that.

the ones we have are the ultra light ones but because my hair is in a pony tail or a twist that hairnet is stretched tight on my head....at least that is what I think is happening. mabey I just have special hair.

My friend Elvie has thick hair and wears a ponytail. Her hairnets are made of lace. I'll see if I can find out where she gets them. They stay on well.

I would love to see them thanks. I have thought about asking my manager how the state feels about the handmade ones IE crochet ones. I have seen some really cutie ones online i would not mind warring something like that all day and just forget about the hairdo
