What's up?

Mark is taking me to the Amtrak station around 11, then I am off to KC. Britt wants me there for the gender reveal sonogram tomorrow afternoon then I come home on Tuesday. Thought about driving it, but glad now that I'm riding.... much more relaxing. Plus my hubby thought I should try out the "business class" and see if it's more roomy & comfortable.

LOL Stephanie, that's exciting!

It's turning colder here now, down to around 2*C (35*F) today and we're due rain tonight turning to snow. I'm so glad I don't have to go anywhere.

We had church this morning, had a pub lunch followed by a brisk, red-cheeked walk in the bitter sea wind, then we fed the squirrels, cleaned DH's car window and checked the boiler. Now he's setting up our replacement network hub with everything crossed that the faults will go away, and I'll be scrapping.

Tonight I shall make some bread and we'll have grilled cheese for tea and cosy up in front of the TV.

I wanted to get up early and go work out but I got my monthly in the middle of the night and it knocked me down. I will have to see if I can manage a little later. Greg is taking Bianca and Mia to church and out to lunch while Lucia naps. I will try to finish my challenge LO. Then laundry and dinner I guess.

that sounds like fun!

today we went to church well i stayed home from the first service. I have an awful headache on one part of my head. Talked to a friend and she has the same thing. It feels better when I rest or sit down but I had to go to church as I was leading the kids time.

Now we are home, I should eat lunch, make bread and attempt to take the kid skating. After that not sure. I wish I didn't have this headache so we could be outside. It is gorgeous out today. high of plus 8C.

gotta tidy the kitchen and make supper/

I am looking online for pantry and freezer inventory lists - I was looking in the grocery flyers and there are lots of good sales but I realized I don't even know what we have half of the time so time to do an inventory! Also want to set up a budget sheet for us. Doing some laundry today too. Won't do a whole lot today probably - will walk the dogs if it warms up a bit later.

Made a batch of oatmeal this morning. I got all the dishes and pans washed, dried, and put away. Cleaned the counters and stovetop. Got in the shower and cleaned it and washed my hair. Now making tea and will go scrap in a bit. Maybe later this evening I will get hubby's blanket layered and start tying.

I spent the morning sorting and repacking my wool stash (think plural). I found 2 projects that I want to frog and find other patterns for.
Then I ran to the store for dog food, and came home with a sweater, 2 t-shirts (for me), a set of men's flannel jammie pants & T, and a men's fleece pullover. All for under $40 plus the dog food. Then stopped at the wine store to reward myself for finding such good bargains! All in the Grocery store no less!
Roast chicken for dinner, and probably a movie with hubby tonight.

I have been doing laundry and downloaded "Pitch Perfect" and I loved it.

Stephanie, it doesn't seem possible that Britt can be that far long.

That's exciting Stephanie. I hope the baby isn't shy.

Dh and I went to the gym this morning, and then we took the girls shopping. They had a lot of gc's and cash. It was like Christmas all over again.
