I'm so happy. I got the basic model. I didn't want any of the programmable ones, that just confuses me. It's bigger than my other one and I love that I can cook two things at once. For instance, I'm making Corned beef and cabbage soup to bring to our cousin Barb this friday but I will also make a pot for us. Fun! I can do so much!
This one is nice a black unlike my other one which is that old country pattern of the early nineties LOL

Ooh exciting. What make is it?
I need to get mine out and play with it more. It has a brushed steel outer casing with a very dark brown removable crock, and it's basic too: on/off, hot/medium. No timer, no other settings, not even an instruction/recipe book. I'm sure it had one once but it's gone walkies in the move.

I need a new one. Ours is old, and to small. If I'm making chili I can barely get 2 lbs of ground turkey in ours with all of the vegetables.

I love the fact you can throw pretty much anything in them and they come out delicious!
My sister does some amazing things in hers. Cakes etc.....
