was just a little down.... somebody thinks I need a new wedding band.... I can't wear mine it doesn't fit with my engagement ring and we've had them checked and we can't get the resized (as that was going to be one of my christmas gifts) so that's fine. I don't need new rings. I'm quite happy wearing my engagment ring even though the silver color is mostly off.
Anyways, found out that 2 pictures of rings were sent to hubby (it was going to be a surprise) but he wasn't sure if I'd like the rings... needless to say from the pictures it's not something I would pick for me and there's no way they'd match my engagement ring. So I found a set online that I love and asked hubby if said person would get that instead. It was about the same price that the wedding band would be. Come to find out it's pretty much one of the 2 rings (with preferably the cheaper one) and hopefully someday we can pay back the money.
Here I thought it was a gift and then felt like that gift got torn away. So I pretty much told hubby to forget about it.
chicken on a waffle?? No thanks. Now a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream... mmmm...... Maybe I need a waffle maker.
Friends aren't people you particularly like for any special reason. You just like people because they're your friends.

Sarah - so "somebody" thought that you needed a new ring, but was only willing to loan the money, not gift it? Is your wedding ring too small? Why can't it be resized?
D'oh. That's so unkind when people build you up for a surprise and then let you down. It would be kinder not to do anything at all, or not to tell you, don't you think?
