most of you know my dd is getting married this month.....JAN 12th...time flies!! they got engaged last may...some think its sudden but its been a LONG time planning!! lol
i think i have it all taken care of (ordering, renting, reserving etc) finishing up last min details each day this week.....its been fun..but stressful!!
i will post photos when i can next weekend..most of you know her as the 11 yr old i started out on here with LOL she will be 20 next march....  We love her fiance..they've been dating for two years already!!!!  they dont want any kids for 7-10 yrs..which is fine with me...im too young to be a grandmother LOL
in prep for the wedding ive lost 30 pounds since aug 20th!!  ( i posted pics on fb...most of you saw those!)
i will be gaining a spare bedroom/office/scraproom! ! i might start scrapping again lol 
here is an engagment photo i took...i got it made into a canvas to use at entrance of reception.
kimberly morris used the other photo to make the invitations..i love them!!!!

aw.... how time goes by! She was 15 I think when we met up in FL.
Friends aren't people you particularly like for any special reason. You just like people because they're your friends.

yes they will live in florida....why would anyone want to leave florida LOL both of their parents/grandparents live here...i cant imagine them moving!

this is my "before"and after pic..taken august 18 or so when we went to the keys...i didnt notice the difference cause im never in photos..til my neice took the next photo on christmas day and later texted it to me!! im shocked i pulled it off LOL

Where the heck does time go?  I cant even imagine your emotions of excitement but also sadness your baby is growing up. Im all emoitional cause my daughter will be graduating and going to college this year

I hear ya, that is also part of the reason I stopped coming here a couple of years back. My life got busy and I felt like I had to cut something out so I decided to stop coming here. I enjoy coming somewhere like this because of all the scrap stuff but also because of the feeling of community. But it seemed like every time I posted something it got one or two replies even if it was asking for prayers or something meaningful whereas others could post a thread like they swept the floor today or something trivial and it would get a ton of comments. I have felt a lot more welcome since I have been back though and I am glad because I really do enjoy coming here.
Back on topic! Congrats on your weight loss! And on your dd's upcoming wedding! Weddings are always a fun time and if it motivated you to look and feel better about yourself then that is a wonderful bonus!

I dropped in earlier and then my DH called me to help him with something. I just came back now to leave a comment. I was going to congratulate you on the weight loss and say you looked good. I was going to leave my congratulations for Casey. But my pleasure at your happiness has been extinguished as effectively as if you'd slapped me across the face.

Well, I get anxious/nervous when I see 100 looks and no replies..so im thinking its people who arent really members here..."guests" they call them. Makes you wonder who they are...or at least it makes me wonder. I'm not comfortable leaving personal stuff up on here (and others do the same thing!!) Ive always deleted pics within a day or two of posting them...even my dogs pics LOL
Rosey - I dont think you looked 90 times or even three times..I am talking about the "others" who we dont know...no need to take it personal.

I feel that way about facebook, too. Because it's attached to my real name. Sure, if people dig they can put stuff together but I don't put pictures up on facebook and don't use my family's names there either. Pi$$ed me off to see my relatives had.
