but moving to a new pasture. The COW's will now be located in the Challenge forum. Hope to see some new COW girls as well as the regular COW girls.
I'll start the 2013 COW.
COW #1:
go to the gallery click on summary (featured) pick a lo from there to scraplift
use a stamp
use fibers, ribbon, or twine
On Sunday someone else can post the next COW for week two.

I won't be doing them this year. I may post my own if others want to do it, but I find trying to follow the other challenges too difficult. I'm a chrono scrapper and inevitably there ends up being challenges I just can't work with for awhile because they are too specific (like use this title or scrap this holiday). And I like to really try and stick to them the way they are posted. That's part of the challenge.  I prefer to stick to tools and techniques to help me use my supplies.
It's been fun and good though to give it a whirl.

Can't you just do the ones you want Tam? Nobody has to stick to a LO every week if they don't want to. It's just for inspiration.

I usually skip the COWs that aren't doable for me, and I don't feel guilty.
I plan on doing what I can from last year, and start fresh this year.

How about if it's a title challenge, then whoever sets it provides an alternative for chrono scrappers? Or you could interpret it "imaginatively"? And as far as scrapping holidays is concerned, why do you have to do the COWs in the right order? Can't you save up the holiday ones for when you get to it?
Just trying to think of ways around it....

I haven't been able to do the ones from this past year in order anyway.
Right now I'm in June - and I just knew if someone else posted the last one for this year it was going to be a Christmas one.

I never do them in order. I'm a random kind of person!!
I thought these challenges were to inspire, not necessarily to be exact. I always think there is a way around some of the supplies/ideas listed....

Deb, thanks for starting us off right in 2013. I have only one more 2012 COW (#50) to do and then I'll have completed all the challenges, even though they were a little out of order.
And TAM  please reconsider. You are such an important Cowgirl. We need you in the pasture. Just look at how many challenges you suggested for us in 2012 from your inspiration jar. Like Virginia said - COW means inspiration and motivation. YOU CAN DO IT, YES YOU CAN!

I only got about 1/2 completed this year, but I enjoyed doing them. I'll be back trying to round up the Cow's this year.
Tam I will miss you, please reconsider. Could we change the challenges slightly to no themes but products and techniques? That way chrono scrappers can keep on doing the challenges.

Virginia - I'm too anal for that. I like to try and do them as posted. That's part of the challenge. I even tried to come up with something to turn the DARE title into an acronym but it stumped me. I just had to do without that title.
Would you guys mind changing it so there are no specific titles/themes posted? Just products/techniques like Kaz said? If you'd rather not, that's okay.
