I can't believe I did this one, it is really not my thing, but I've been so unhappy with my last few layouts that I thought randomly painting on cardstock might do me some good. It's just cardstock, paint, stickles, photos and a bunch of old CM stickers that I have from 10 years ago.

Here is my entry for this page. Way boring compared to all of yours though!! I used paint behind my photos. If you knew me, this is big. I hate to let stuff like this dry!! And I had white paint all over my hands and even got it on my desk!!

This pages uses lot of Ink and stamping is in the background, then a layer of gel medium through a stencil which I then allowed to dry completely before adding ink and mists to the page, ( this acts as a resist) also used lots of different layers of mists over the tops of handmade resin pieces that I coated with gesso, and a crocheted doily. Handmade rose flowers out of prima basic flowers ( got milk? I think they were called in their day!!!) layers of masking tapes, washi tapes, glitter tape that was punched with a heart border punch. Hand punched and embossed leaves, coloured with yet another mist.
Made a hua ( NZ slang) of a mess....but boy it was FUN.
Thanks for the heads up about the challenge
Sharon

Hi Rosey and Nora and everyone else, thx for the welcome. Its great to be appart of something, but I just wish I knew how to upload the LO so it can be seen without having to open a link. I bet its really easy, could somebody please point out the obvious to me lol.

Hey Sandy, you did it fine. If you want people to leave comments on your LOs, upload them to your Gallery (you've worked that out!) and click the Allow Public Embedding button. You can either do that when you upload it, or after it's uploaded by clicking on the Edit Image button.
Once it's saved, copy the URL in the address bar. Go to the thread you want to post it into, click Reply and paste the URL into your post. That gives us the link to your Gallery item so we can click it and leave a comment.
Then click on your photo so that it opens in a new tab. Copy that URL in the address bar and go back to your post. You'll see an icon above the text box that looks like a little picture of a mountain with a sun. Click that and paste the URL. That will display a thumbnail of your LO.
It's hard to explain. The embed button is supposed to do most of that for you but since the upgrade in 2011 it's been broken. We're waiting for the developers to fix it. Have a try and shout if I haven't explained it clearly enough?
