Did you guys get hit with any of the snow? We didnt get any just cold and wind. I actually wouldnt mind some snow though!

We got around 4" within 5 hours, but it has stopped.

It's been snowing all day here. I think we got about 8", it's all powder and didn't pack very well.

We have about 6 inches and it is still snowing. It is pretty but can go away ASAP. I don't have to go anywhere but I am finally feeling better and could have had some mall therapy. My company will be delayed until tomorrow if they still stop.

if I remember right, a blizzard has to do with wind and visibility and not the amount you get. 
Ours started last night and snowing now. I don't know how much we have so far.

Yeah that's why it was a blizzard bc of the horrible wind. I didn't mean bc of the amount we got, just put those two things together in the same sentence! It was just odd to hear it called a blizzard. I think the last true blizzard was in '78. Drifts were higher than dh's Blazer's grill. Stephanie, I sure would share with you!

snowstorm here, the whole city is pretty much shut down, hockey games are cancelled, malls are scheduled to possibly open later, churches closed for the day.... plows didn't even start on the roads until well after 7 am. my sister drove to work with non plowed roads, was a mess.
Mom to 1 precious boy! He loves hockey.

We were awoken at 1am by a colossal SPLAT on the window as a hail storm hit us. By the time I got to the window, the view outside was white, probably about an inch deep. It melted by the morning, but that was dramatic. For us!
