A little out of order but all my COWs are done!

Checked you-tube and I definitely do not have the supplies to do Ink Resist so my COW 50 elements are arrows, torn paper, and some distress ink on the journaling.
Thanks Cowgirls - it's been a great year.

sweet!
It can be done with crayons (or even the end of a candle because the wax is the resist). I do have embossing powder but for mine, I used a glaze pen. I still have to take a pic of the LO but I haven't done the journaling yet.

Yea! Another COW done.
Only got two of the three elements this time. Paper tearing & arrows. I tried three times to figure out that darn ink resist, just can't seem to get it down, so I inked edges to the letter tiles, the embellishment and the torn paper edge.
Only two more of last years COWs to go, but I think I will move on to the new 2013 pasture, don't want to get too far behind on those.

great LO Debbie!
when you try and do resist - what are you using? what is your 'resist' material and what kind of ink are you using? dye works better but you can still rub pigment off of glaze/wet embossing with a tissue.

Thanks.
Tam, I tried using a glossy paper and stampin' up inks, because they are water based, and I used a versamark embossing pad & clear embossing powder, but I must still be doing something wrong. Just doesn't come out the way it should. I'll keep trying, but likely won't use that technique for scrapbooking.

I don't have the correct embossing powder for ink resist, and I honestly only keep stamps around for challenges. I've discovered over the years that I hate rubber stamps, and they hate me right back. So rather than going out to buy something I won't use, I made the "yum" on the plate near the title by spraying ink over letters, which is really more masking than resist. I did try with the embossing powder I had first, but it was glittery, so it didn't work at all for this. I'm still counting this as COW #50, though!
