Then will head to the city to tan & perhaps get my toes done.
Go to the auction house after that & watch Mark do his Vanna White thing
Playing euchre at a friends house tonight. There will be more than 20 of us & I'm nervous / hope I do well!

Raining here this morning, so I am enjoying one more coffee.
No plans for today, except a bunch of things that I need and want to get done around the house. I boosted the local economy yesterday and got a few more pressies. Tomorrow I am meeting up with my sister for fun and holiday mischief, then having an overnight with my granddaughters at their house.

Final Star Trail this morning. I'm so tired!
DH and I popped out for lunch and to return a faulty door handle (for the 3rd time), and now we're home. He's tidying up the mess his handiwork has made, and has a list of things to do, and I'm going to cosy up and write Christmas cards. {happy sigh}

So far I've been cleaning the kitchen and working on laundry. 2 pans left to wash and one last counter. The other two done with a bleach cleaning. Cleaned the microwave, stove top and hood. Oven is on a 3 hr clean cycle. Also gave cabinets a wipe while cleaning counters.
Need to make some lunch soon. I'm so hungry.

Did a service project with the young women at church.
Making lunch for the boys now.
hope to work on my christmas journal
Going to go look at lights tonight
and doing pancakes for dinner (Thomas LOVES it!)
after boys are in bed, I have got to get to work on their quilts (wish me luck that I don't break the sewing machine)

I've already made a couple hundred cookies this morning. A couple hundred more on the way. Plus nutter butter truffles, peppermint bark, and various other treats.
Annual cookie party today! First time having it at "home." I'm excited!

Euchre is a lot of fun! I'm usually the only woman playing at family functions. I need to teach Lilly and Camy how to play.
Just cleaning, Christmas projects, laundry, write a menu, make a grocery list, and maybe some wrapping today.
This is what I've accomplished so far:
cleaned bathroom
dusted/polished/swept/swi ffered bathroom & bedroom
put dishes in the dishwasher away
cleaned kitchen counters
gathered up all of the laundry
polished the dining room table & TV console
I have a sore throat. I'm hoping it gets better before it gets worse.
swept & swiffered Camy's room, Abby's room, hallway, other bathroom, and entryway
cleaned kitchen appliances (polished cabinets last night)

Wow Jen, that's busy! Off to google peppermint bark - it sounds amazing...
Oh no Mindy! Good luck with the sewing machine. I'm sure it will be OK. Third time lucky, right?
We had one of the vicars pop in to return the carved box they borrowed for the nativity, and she stayed for coffee and a chat, and 2 hours later.... she's good fun, but I'm no further ahead with my Christmas cards.
Bread, and chocolate chip ginger cake is now in the oven. I think I added too much water to the cake so it will be interesting to see how it comes out.

We played a lot of euchre in my previous life but early on & I was fairly young. Mark had not played in years either....
The couple we've played with, I originally warned them that I may make mistakes & I'm horrid with numbers, yada yada yada. Well let's just say it all came back to me & Mark was the one messing up now they always give me a hard time, that I was bluffing; that I'm a card shark, etc.
I've just never played with this many people. I know some take it more seriously than others & we'll be drawing for partners.

Girls had piano and dance. I worked out and stopped at the store really quick then came home to take Mimi to a play date. Now I'm sitting on the couch chilling for a little bit. Then I need to do laundry, dinner and wrap presents. The house is a bit messy so that needs to be fixed with the help from the rats. I might go visit grandma if I can muster up enough energy.

took a nap (another sign I'm probably getting sick, lol)
fixed dinner (leftovers night)
helped Abby with her shower and put her in bed
still working on laundry, but my cleaning is done
I might wrap some Santa gifts after the girls go to bed

Started this morning with housework. DH is off today so he got hockey duty so I took advantage of the opportunity to run some errands that I needed to run without the kids along. Went to Wal-mart, Kohl's, Hobby Lobby, a closeout store, Michaels, Trader's Joe's, Target. Two stops were to return things. That took several hours. Got home and started laundry and more housework. Just finished baking a batch of cookies and doing Christmas cards while they baked.
Need to wait for DD to go to bed so I can finish unloading the trunk of the car. I have five loads of laundry folded and ready to put away. Then I would really, really like to get the cards done, I'd like to get them sent out on Monday and get them off my very long to-do list!

Took the kids to our old church in South Bend this morning, stopped at Target to get a few household goods.
Over to my moms for the kids to visit and play with their cousin.
Stop at Lowe's for more Christmas lights and they were out :(. Need at least 2 more boxes to make the tree look good, so I will be at KMart in the morning.
Couple loads of laundry done since we got home and now the kids are winding down for bed.
I am tired, but doubt I will be able to sleep without some kind of assistance this evening.
Reagan has the snotty sneezies, so I have a feeling she will be hanging with mom tomorrow.
