Just heard on the radio that the nurse in England, who took the prank call from those (idiot) radio dj's - posing as the queen & asking about Kate.... has committed suicide
That is sad. I heard it on the radio. I thought the callers sounded pretty stupid.
There had to be more going on than this one incident or she'd have to be pretty troubled for something like this to send her over.
Friends aren't people you particularly like for any special reason. You just like people because they're your friends.

I agree with Tam. It's a horrible sad situation but she much have had other issues with this being the proverbial straw. I do hope those djs think next time they want to do something like that. You never know who you are messing with.
It looks like she was a nurse and also the receptionist? It apparently wasn't the person who gave the information but the person who "screened" the call and put it through. So tragic. I can't imagine the guilt and humiliation of being involved in that whole thing. So sad.
