have you heard of them?

Not the ones that finalize a production....

and not the kind for wrapping Christmas gifts....

but some sort of wrap, that they put around your waist & you supposedly lose inches (?)

A gal from our bowling league was talking about her dd hosting one this weekend.

Yes, I have heard of them. They are plastic and have goo on them, supposed to make you lose inches in 45 min. A teacher at my kids old school sells them. Or she did. Let me get you a link...

The owner of my gym was talking about this a couple of months ago. I guess a member hosts these type of parties. It doesn't make you lose, it makes it 'look' like you've lost and is temporary.

I could see doing this before a vaction to feel a little more confident in a bikini.

I think you are also supposed to drink water the whole time you have it on.

The way I look at it is this: mass is mass is mass. However long it took to be produced, it certainly doesn't magically disappear. If this were the case scientists wouldn't be making themselves rich with the invention of methods such as liposuction and cryogenic technologies (which, by the way, I would love to try).

I thought I was open to the idea of a abdominal tuck until I had my hysterectomy. I'm not so sure now. Abdominal incisions hurt. I couldn't imagine how painful an abdominal tuck would be. I just had three small incisions and I was really uncomfortable.

For me they would use the scar from my c sections and I'm a pro at managing that pain after three of them so I would be open to it. Especially if I was to be under general anesthesia.
