So on Sunday we took Aiden to the mall to visit Sensitive Santa. The Autism society had set up a really awesome meet Santa party for kids on the spectrum to make the whole thing easier for them to deal with. Aiden really enjoyed all the games and things they had set up but he was NOT impressed with Santa at all. They let us take a family picture since Aiden was not about to sit in his lap for all the world.
After we left the Santa party we did a few things and ended up at Walmart. They had a 25 year old guy that works there in a Santa costume and Aiden walked right over to him and sat in his lap. Of course he had cookies and that may have had something to do with it LOL

Nice!
You wouldn't have caught my kid anywhere near Santa. That just wasn't going to happen. I will never forget the mall incident and Scooby Doo when he was 5.
Friends aren't people you particularly like for any special reason. You just like people because they're your friends.

Great pictures! I'm glad that he sat on Walmart's Santa. Maybe you can suggest they add food to Santa to give out at the Autism event for next year.
